TNF Kentucky Sportsbook Promos: Lions vs Packers

Thursday night brings us one of the best games of Week 4 as the Lions and Packers square off. It is the perfect matchup to kick off the first day of legal mobile sports betting in Kentucky.

The Packers and Lions are both 2-1 and will play for Lambeau's division lead. The Lions enter the game as the favorite, with a spread of -1.5 and a -120 moneyline at DraftKings Sportsbook. However, those odds could shift once the Packer’s injury report is released, as it contains several key players who are questionable to play.

This NFC North clash is a great way to kick off online sports betting in the Bluegrass State. Before you place your bets, be sure to take advantage of one of the many welcome bonuses available for new Kentucky bettors.

If you aren’t sure which sportsbook to choose, fear not. Below, we will share our three favorite promotions, giving you the information needed to select the right option.

DraftKings Sportsbook has established itself as one of the two largest sportsbooks in the US. Their fantastic promotions and bonuses have captured a large share of the country’s sports betting market. Their welcome bonus is one reason why, but they also offer a great selection of promotions for existing players. These include odds boosts, special same-game parlay boosts, and NFL-specific promotions throughout the season.

New players from Kentucky who sign up for DraftKings ahead of tonight’s TNF game will receive $200 in bonus bets when they bet at least $5. Regardless of the wager's outcome, you will receive eight bonus bet credits worth $25 each. That gives your account a boost right off the bat, allowing you to start off on the right foot.

One important note about this promo is that the bonus bet credits cannot be withdrawn for cash. Instead, they can be used to place any bet on DraftKings Sportsbook. All winnings will be added to your account, but the bet credit will not be included. While that means this bonus isn’t cash in your pocket, it gives you eight $25 bets for $5.

FanDuel Sportsbook Giving Kentucky Bettors $200 in Bonus Bets

Fanduel Sportsbook has supplanted DraftKings as the top online sportsbook in the US. They offer some of the best bonuses, have one of the top platforms, and have a vast selection of leagues to wager on.

FanDuel also gives new Kentucky bettors $200 in bonus bets when they man an initial wager of at least $5. Eight $25 bet credits will automatically be added to your account, even if your bet loses. That means you will have eight free bets to help build your bankroll.

Like with DraftKings, these bonus bets cannot be withdrawn for cash. Bettors can use them to wager on games and can keep any winnings. While FanDuel has great recurring promotions for existing users, you won’t want to miss out on this incredible welcome bonus.

BetMGM

Get $1,500 in Bonus Bets!

While DraftKings and FanDuel have dominated the online sports betting market, BetMGM is one of the most established names in the sports betting industry. Their iconic resort on the Las Vegas Strip is well known, but they also have locations spread across the US. BetMGM separates itself with its rewards program, where bettors can earn free hotel stays, meals, and VIP tickets.

BetMGM is celebrating the launch of online sports betting in Kentucky by ensuring new players’ first bet of up to $1,500. That means if you place a bet for $200 that loses, you will receive $200 in bonus credits. If the bets win, your bet will be paid out as expected.

BetMGM’s bonus bets cannot be withdrawn, meaning they can only be used for making bets. While the $1,500 is among the biggest first-bet insurance offers out there, be sure to consider how much you want to bet. A $20 bet would lead to a smaller bonus than the other two on this list, while a $500 bet would provide much more.

Our Favorite Lions vs Packers TNF Bet

Bet $5, Get $150 + a No Sweat SGP

We love the Packers to get a prime-time win at home on Thursday, so we are taking the Green Bay moneyline (+100 at DraftKings Sportsbook).

The biggest reason for us jumping on the Packers is that they will likely have Aaron Jones and Christian Watson back on the field. Those are the two top playmakers for the Green Bay offense, and we saw them look much better when Jones was in the lineup.

The Lions' run defense is excellent, but expect Jordan Love to hit Aaron Jones out of the backfield. The Detroit secondary is very beatable, and that will be a problem with the ultra-athletic Watson back out there. He is a fantastic deep threat, but he can also break big plays off of short passes.

Add all that to the fact that the game will be played at Lambeau, and you can see why we love this bet.

How to Watch Lions vs Packers:

  • Where: Lambeau Field in Green Bay, WI
  • When: Thursday, September 28, 8:15 PM EST
  • TV: None
  • Streaming: Amazon Prime
