The Eagles have won five straight games
Washington is allowing the fifth most rushing yards per game this season
The Eagles are gaining the second-most rushing yards per game
This week’s Thursday Night Football matchup features two NFC East rivals. The Washington Commanders will visit the Philadelphia Eagles with first place in the division on the line. That should make for some exciting football and some excellent bets to choose from.
If you want to bet on this prime-time game between the Commanders and Eagles, you have come to the right place. Below, we’ll share our favorite Same Game Parlay for this matchup. The Eagles had won five straight games heading into Thursday night. While those games were against sub-500 teams, we expect them to continue their streak against the Commanders tonight.
One reason for that is the defense, which has been incredible over the last few weeks. Jalen Carter leads a physical front seven, while the team’s young secondary seems to get better each week. They will be tested against Daniels, but we saw the rookie struggle against a good Steelers defense last week. Philly has the talent to replicate that, leading to another loss for Washington.
As well as the Commanders have played this season, the defense is struggling to stop the run. They are allowing the fifth-most rushing yards per game this season. That will be a significant problem against the Eagles, which rank second in the league in rush yards per game (154.8).

Hurts has scored a rushing touchdown in six of his nine games this season. He has done so in four straight weeks, finding the end zone a total of eight times. The quarterback is in a groove and will have no problem adding to his impressive touchdown total against a bad Washington run defense.
With Saquon Barkley attracting most of the attention from the Commanders, expect Hurts to have room to run. With at least seven carries in every game this season, the 26-year-old will have plenty of chances to cover this bet.

Barkley had a quiet day in the team’s blowout win against the Cowboys last weekend. While he averaged 4.7 YPC, he finished with just 14 carries and 66 yards. It was the second-fewest carries he has seen this season, though it came primarily because of the offense’s early success, leading to the Eagles giving Barkley some rest.
Washington’s pass defense has been improving as the season goes on, so Philly will be looking to move the ball on the ground. Unlike last week, the score won’t get out of hand so quickly, leading to more carries for the veteran back.
