Best NHL Prop Bets Today December 15

The NHL is heading into the upcoming weekend with an exciting lineup of matchups. However, before that, there is an unusual set of games scheduled on a weekday. Tonight is a solid opportunity for bettors to take a chance on a few player props from around the league that could help them earn significant winnings.

Here are our favorite NHL player prop picks for Friday.

The following odds are from DraftKings Sportsbooks, where NHL Prop Bets can be made.

Anaheim Ducks vs. New York Rangers

My Pick – Vincent Trocheck Prop To Account for Over 0.5 Assists (+100) at DraftKings

The New York Rangers have been on a tough streak within the last few games. New York has only won only one game in the last four matchups as their offense and defense have been inconsistent. They are coming off a tough 7-3 home loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs this past Tuesday.

They will look to redeem themselves at home on Friday night against the Anaheim Ducks after a few days off. One way to get their offense is to create a solid and productive flow of the game. This is where center Vincent Trocheck can generate a spark for the Rangers’ offense.

Trocheck is second on the team in assists accounted for this season (19) after star forward Artemi Panarin (23). He should have a solid chance of finding clear scoring lanes for teammates, as the Ducks are ranked 26th in the league in goals allowed per game (3.43).

Nashville Predators vs. Carolina Hurricanes

My Pick – Filip Forsberg Prop To Account for Over 0.5 Points (-150) at DraftKings

One of the more interesting games this Friday night is set for a Western Conference versus Eastern Conference matchup between the Nashville Predators and the Carolina Hurricanes. The Hurricanes come into this game with a more efficient offense, while the Predators come in with a better defense.

For Nashville to have a chance against this tough Hurricanes team, they will need their star forward, Filip Forsberg, to account for a productive offensive game. Forsberg has been the star of the team in terms of scoring and finding efficient passes for his teammates to score since the start of the season. He has accounted for 33 points this season, with 15 of them being goals and 18 assists.

Forsberg has accounted for a point in five of the last six games for the Predators. Carolina's defense is breakable, as they are ranked 16th in the league in goals allowed per game (3.17). Look for Forsberg to be active early in the game.

Buffalo Sabres vs. Vegas Golden Knights

My Pick – Mark Stone Prop To Account for Over 0.5 Assists (-105) at DraftKings

The Vegas Golden Knights have been on a roll since their tough set of performances in November. The Golden Knights have won six of the last seven games and are on a current four-game winning streak. Their offense has certainly improved within the past four games, as they have combined for 22 goals.

One of the biggest reasons is the tremendous play of forward Mark Stone, who has accumulated eight points during the four-game winning streak for the Golden Knights. Among those eight points are five assists, as he accounted for at least one each in the last four games.

Tonight, the Golden Knights host the Buffalo Sabres to potentially win their fifth consecutive game. The Sabres are ranked 22nd in the league in goals allowed per game (3.3) as their defense has fluctuated throughout the season. Stone is coming into this game with a hot streak of production and looks to continue to help the offensive production of the Golden Knights rise.
