Two bets, in particular, have the potential to allow bettors to earn significant winnings through specific player props through DraftKings.

Here are our favorite NHL player prop picks for Thursday.

The following odds are from DraftKings Sportsbook, where the NHL Prop Bets can be made. Check out the best NHL bonuses and promo codes for more betting opportunities.

Vancouver Canucks vs. Dallas Stars

My Pick – Jamie Benn to Account for Over 0.5 Points (-125) at DraftKings

One of the top games between two teams in the Western Conference will be the Vancouver Canucks going on the road as big favorites to take on the Dallas Stars. The stars are a team that needs more big wins as the Canucks continue to find ways to get better.

Dallas has been finding different stars to contribute consistently, but one of the most consistent stars within the past few games has been defender Jamie Benn. He is one of eight players this season for Dallas who is accounted for at least 21 points this season. Benn has accounted for an assist in four of the last six games. Benn has accounted for six total points in nine games.

The Stars will need every bit of bit of support they can get against a Canucks’ defense that is ranked second in the league in goals allowed per game (2.42).

Edmonton Oilers vs. New Jersey Devils

My Pick – Jesper Bratt to Account for Over 0.5 Assist (-125) at DraftKings

Tonight's game between the Edmonton Oilers and the New Jersey Devils should be one of the highest score games of the season, not only for bothTonight's game between the Edmonton Oilers and the New Jersey Devils should be one of the highest score games of the season, not only for both teams but for the entire NHL. This is a game that will feature highly explosive offensive teams with poor lackluster defense.

Edmonton is ranked 11th in the league in goals per game (3.34) while New Jersey is ranked seventh in the league (3.43). The Oilers possess some of the most explosive veterans in the league, while New Jersey has two elite young stars that could be the future of the league.

The Devils look to snap a two-game losing streak by relying on two of their best young stars to help create scoring opportunities. In the 6-3 win at the Columbus Blue Jackets, forward Jesper Brett accounted for three assists. Except for the last two games, Brett has accounted for an assist in four of the previous five games. With the Devils taking on the Oilers' defense, who allows an average of 3.45 goals per game, he should have no problems finding opportunities to create assists.
