Best NHL Prop Bets Today February 12

The Monday after Super Bowl Sunday is always a great opportunity for sports fans to get into the action of sports betting with other sports. The NHL is among the sports that is right there for fans to get into the potential of winning some big bucks through a series of great player props on a busy Monday night.

Here are our favorite NHL player prop picks for Monday.

The following odds are from DraftKings Sportsbook, where NHL Prop Bets can be made. Check out the best NHL bonuses and promo codes for more betting opportunities.

Seattle Kraken vs. New Jersey Devils

My Pick – Oliver Bjorkstrand to Account for Over 0.5 Points (-115) at DraftKings

One of the biggest betting opportunities of the night will be the Eastern Conference versus Western Conference matchup between the New Jersey Devils hosting the Seattle Kraken. This matchup features the Devils’ stellar offense going against the efficient defense of the Kraken. On the other side of the ice, both the offense of the Krakens and the defense of the Devils.

The Kraken have lost their last two games to the San Jose Sharks and the Philadelphia Phillies with their star forward Oliver Bjorkstrand not accounting for a goal or an assist. Right before the All-Star Break, Bjorkstrand accounted for two points in each of the games against the St. Louis Blues and the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The Devils are ranked 29th in the league in goals allowed per game (3.52). For the Kraken to get back on the right path, they will need more productivity from Bjorkstrand.

Calgary Flames vs. New York Rangers

My Pick – Chris Kreider to Account for Over 0.5 Points (+160) at DraftKings

The most anticipated early games of Monday’s matchup are set as the New York Rangers host the Calgary Flames. The Flames are not the same inefficient team they have been early in the season. Since the start of the new year, the Flames have been more productive on both sides of the ice.

The Rangers, while the favorites going into this game, will have their hands full with the surging Flames. Calgary will attempt to lock down some of the more experienced playmakers of the Rangers.

This is a game that Rangers forward Chris Kreider could find himself developing more after two solid games. In the wins over the Tampa Bay Lightning and Chicago Blackhawks, Kreider has accounted for three points, with two of them being assists. He has been an underrated player to trust in the player props after the NHL All-Star Break.

Minnesota Wild vs. Vegas Golden Knights

My Pick – Chandler Stephenson to Account for Over 0.5 Points (-130) at DraftKings

The final game of the night is set to be a big performance for one of the top Western Conference teams in the NHL.  The Vegas Golden Knights have a great chance of continuing a solid run in the new year with a great win at home versus the Minnesota Wild.

The offense of the Golden Knights is ranked 14th in the league in goals per game (3.17) and has been getting more productive as the weeks have progressed. Vegas is set to take on a Wild defense that is ranked 23rd in the league in goals allowed per game (3.27).

Golden Knights center Chandler Stephenson has been one of the most productive players in the two games played in February. Stephenson has accounted for three points with two of them being goals in the wins over the Edmonton Oilers and the Arizona Coyotes. He should have another solid game against a bad defense on Monday.
