The wild slate of NHL games continues on Tuesday as there are set to be teams that have played the previous day. There are going to be a series of great opportunities for NHL fans and sports bettors to win significant earnings based on player performances. Look for the best betting opportunities and numbers to come from DraftKings.
Here are our favorite NHL player prop picks for Tuesday.
The following odds are from DraftKings Sportsbook, where NHL Prop Bets can be made. Check out the best NHL bonuses and promo codes for more betting opportunities.
One of the best betting opportunities in the NHL in terms of player props will be with the Florida Panthers hosting their divisional rivals in the Ottawa Senators. The Panthers are taking on one of the worst defenses in the league in the Senators, who give up an average of 3.58 goals per game (30th in the NHL).
The Panthers are currently on a great productivity streak offensively in their current five-game winning streak. They have scored four or more goals in each of the last five games, with their most recent game being a 9-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Among the players that have been solid during this stretch is center Aleksander Barkov. He has accounted for six goals in the last four games played for the Panthers. Barkov accounted for two assists in the 4-0 win at the Buffalo Sabres and one goal and two assists in the 4-0 home win over the Colorado Avalanche.
Barkov accounted for three assists in the 5-0 road win over the Senators on November 27, the last time the two teams faced each other. Look for Barkov to be among the many players to account for a big performance.

Both the Minnesota Wild and the Winnipeg Jets are coming off games played yesterday in a busy slate of matchups. The Wild are coming off a 10-7 home win over the Vancouver Canucks, where they scored seven goals in the third period. Winnipeg is coming off a disappointing 6-3 loss to the Calgary Flames.
The Jets are looking to be more aggressive on both sides of the ice, while the Wild might be more fatigued. Winnipeg has several players they can rely on to take on the 23rd-ranked scoring defense of the Wild (3.29 goals allowed per game), but they could see a continuing impact from newly traded center Sean Monahan.
Monahan didn’t account for a goal or an assist in the first four games for the Jets after being traded from Montreal. In the last two games, Monahan scored four goals, including three goals in the loss to Calgary. Winnipeg feels confident that Monahan can be a core player and will continue to insert more into game plans.

Speaking of the Minnesota Wild, it is time we talk about the embarrassing performance that the Vancouver Canucks gave in the 10-7 road loss to the Wild on Monday. The Canucks gave up seven goals in the third period to Minnesota.
The Canucks rarely lose consecutive games, but this was such a demoralizing loss that it took them a bit to recover. The next day, they have to go on the road to take on the Colorado Avalanche, a team that has shown they can handle the pressure of success.
Avalanche star center Nathan MacKinnon has accounted for seven points since his return from the All-Star Break. He has accounted for two points in each of the last three games for the Avalanche.
MacKinnon has a great chance to continue this impressive streak against a top-tier defense, who gave up an embarrassing amount of goals to a below-average offense.
