This Tuesday night is going to be a great opportunity for NHL fans and sports gamblers to make some significant earnings due to the numerous games being played. Among some of these games are serious mismatches based on talent and productivity. These are games where some of the best players in the league could continue their statement into the new year.
Here are our favorite NHL player prop picks for Tuesday.
The following odds are from DraftKings Sportsbook, where the NHL Prop Bets can be made. Check out the best NHL bonuses and promo codes for more betting opportunities.
One of the first games of the night and the NHL should be an easy matchup between the San Jose Sharks and the Toronto Maple Leafs. Toronto possesses one of the most explosive offenses in the league thanks to the stellar play of center Auston Matthews and forward William Nylander. Toronto is ranked 7th in the league in goals per game (3.49) as a result of the stellar roster and star players.
They are taking on the worst defense in the league as they allow an average of 4.03 goals per game. Toronto previously beat the San Jose Sharks this past Saturday with a 4-1 score. Nylander accounted for two goals and an assist in the win over the Sharks.
Nylander leads the team in points account for 54 as he has accounted for 21 goals and 33 assists this season. He should have another easy run against the worst team in the league on Tuesday night.

The Edmonton Oilers have come a long way from earlier in the season having to find their coaching staff to becoming a serious contender in the Western Conference. On Tuesday night, they will have a chance to win their eighth consecutive game of the season as they go on the road to take on the Chicago Blackhawks, who are without star rookie Connor Bedard.
The Oilers and the Blackhawks will meet for the second time this season on the ice. The last time that Amazon played Chicago, center Connor McDavid accounted for two assists. It was easy for the Oilers to get the win over the Blackhawks just a little under a month ago. It will be even easier for the Oilers to account for a big win without Chicago's star rookie.
McDavid has accounted for 54 points in the season, with 14 being goals and 40 being assists. Like Nylander against the Sharks, McDavid should have no problem establishing his presence against a bad Blackhawks’ defense that allows 3.75 goals per game (second worst in the league).
