Best NHL Prop Bets Today January 22

The new week kicks off with a series of cross-conference matchups that are not only entertaining but present great value in the world of sports gambling. Tonight’s games should be a great opportunity for casual NHL fans and sports bettors to potentially earn winnings through sportsbooks on player props.

Here are our favorite NHL player prop picks for Monday.

The following odds are from DraftKings Sportsbook, where the NHL Prop Bets can be made. Check out the best NHL bonuses and promo codes for more betting opportunities.

Vegas Golden Knights vs. New Jersey Devils

My Pick – Chandler Stephenson to Account for Over 0.5 Points (-130) at DraftKings

For the first time since the start of the season, the Vegas Golden Knights have developed a huge and successful rhythm. Within the last seven games, the Golden Knights have scored 20 goals.

This is due to the consistent support of multiple players on the roster. Five players have accounted for five or more points within the last nine games. Among them is center Chandler Stephenson, who accounted for six points, five of them being assists. Stephenson has accounted for a goal or an assist in four consecutive games for the Golden Knights.

Stephenson and other players for the Golden Knights should have a big opportunity to continue their great offensive stretch as they take on the New Jersey Devils on the road. The Devils possess one of the worst defenses in the league by allowing an average of 3.48 goals per game (26th in the league).

Pittsburgh Penguins vs. Arizona Coyotes

My Pick – Jake Guentzel to Account for Over 0.5 Assists (-120) at DraftKings

One of the most underrated matchups going into this Monday night is the Eastern Conference versus the Western Conference matchup between the Pittsburgh Penguins going on the road to take on the Arizona Coyotes.

The last time Pittsburgh and Arizona met on December 12, they were struggling to get to .500%. Now they're looking to make a huge step forward toward a potential wild card spot in their respective conference.

The last time these two teams met on the ice, the Penguins won with a 4-2 score. Forward Jake Guentzel scored two goals in the win over Arizona. The Coyotes’ defense is going to be more active to slow down his scoring.

Guentzel is also Pittsburgh’s leader in assists this season with 27. There several great scorers he can set up scoring opportunities for including center Sidney Crosby, center Evgeni Malkin and forward Bryan Rust.
