This Tuesday night’s early games should be a great opportunity to see some great value through a player’s performances against bad defenses. Tonight’s games will be a chance for casual NHL fans and sports bettors to potentially earn winnings through sportsbooks on player props.
Here are our favorite NHL player prop picks for Tuesday.
Kicking off tonight in the NHL is set as the Dallas Stars taking on the Detroit Red Wings and a potentially high-scoring game. There are going to be several players for the Stars that will have a huge impact against a Red Wings’ defense that is ranked 22nd in the league in goals allowed per game (3.28).
Among them is center Matt Duchene, who has accounted for 10 points in the 11 games played in January. Duchene has accumulated four goals and six assists during that period. He is only behind star forward Jason Robertson for most productive offensive players in January.
Duchene has accounted for an assist or goal in three of the last five games for the Stars. He is another center making a huge contribution to a roster that is loaded with talented offensively-minded centers.

The final game of the night is set as a potential blowout could be coming with the New York Rangers going on the road to take on the San Jose Sharks, the worst team in the NHL. The Sharks are coming off a two-win streak, including a 4-3 win in a shootout last night versus the Los Angeles Kings. They are going to be coming off an emotional high, which could lead them to be potentially fatigued going into tonight's matchup.
New York has been one of the most efficient offensive teams in the league thanks to their ability to pass the puck around the ice and find excellent scoring opportunities. Among them is center Vincent Trocheck, who has accounted for 29 assists, tied for second-most on the team.
He has accounted for an assist since the 2-1 win over the Washington Capitals five games ago. This game against a Sharks defense, who are among the worst units in the NHL, will be a great opportunity to restart that solid contribution and rhythm.
