Best NHL Prop Bets Today January 30

There are only two games tonight in the NHL due to the fact that the 2024 NHL All-Star game is going to be a key factor in reduced matchups. These games, however, will have huge value in the sports betting industry specifically for player props. Look for great betting opportunities for these players to have big games tonight.

Here are our favorite NHL player prop picks for Tuesday.

The following odds are from DraftKings Sportsbook, where the NHL Prop Bets can be made. Check out the best NHL bonuses and promo codes for more betting opportunities.

Columbus Blue Jackets vs. St. Louis Blues

My Pick – Robert Thomas to Account for Over 0.5 Assists (-130) at DraftKings

Tonight kicks off with an Eastern Conference versus Western Conference matchup as the Columbus Blue Jackets go on the road to take on the St. Louis Blues. The Blues are a team that are finding their rhythm right before the All-Star break while the Blue Jackets are struggling significantly.

This game has the potential to be a high-scoring affair for St. Louis. Their center Robert Thomas has been leading the charge for a team surging through the Western Conference standings. In 48 games played, Thomas has accounted for 52 total points with 17 of them being goals and 35 being a team-high in goals.

The Blues are taken on one of the worst defenses in the league in the Blue Jackets. The Blue Jackets are ranked 31st in the league in goals allowed per game (3.74). This game should be a great opportunity for Thomas to set up a solid score for his teammates against a bad Columbus team.

Seattle Kraken vs. San Jose Sharks

My Pick – Oliver Bjrokstrand to Account for Over 0.5 Points (-150) at DraftKings

One of the best player prop bets of the night, perhaps for the rest of the week, will be set in the Pacific Divisional matchup between the Seattle Kraken and the San Jose Sharks. The Kraken will take on a Sharks’ defense that owns the title of worst-scoring defense in the league. The Sharks allow an average of 3.92 goals per game.

The Kraken hasn’t created a consistent offense throughout the entire season as they only average 2.84 goals per game. When the Kraken do get their offense rolling, they have shown the persistence of scoring early and often.

An example is the 7-1 crushing win over the Sharks on November 22. Forward Oliver Bjorkstrand scored a goal and accounted for three assists in the game. Brjokrkstrand has been the biggest offensive playmaker for the Kraken since the start of the season. He is also the reason why the offense has the potential to be one of the more productive offenses in the NHL.
