Today is another exciting day in the NHL as there are more games for casual sports fans and sports bettors to get into the action than the day before. There are going to be great betting opportunities to bet on player performances through DraftKings. The better the performances, the more potential winnings for the bettors.
Here are our favorite NHL player prop picks for Tuesday.
The following odds are from DraftKings Sportsbook, where NHL Prop Bets can be made. Check out the best NHL bonuses and promo codes for more betting opportunities.
It is a tough time for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Ottawa Senators. The Senators have lost seven consecutive games with their most recent loss being a 2-1 road loss to the San Jose Sharks. For the Pittsburgh Penguins, their championship window closed with the trading of star forward Jake Guentzel to the Carolina Hurricanes.
The Penguins have been outscored 18-2 in their four most recent losses. The Senators have a chance to add to the defensive and offensive production woes of the Penguins with a tough performance tonight.
Center Shane Pinto will be the player leading the charge offensively for the Senators. He has accounted for points in three of the five last games for Ottawa. He didn’t account for a goal or assist in the losses to the San Jose Sharks or Anaheim Ducks where he didn’t lead the offense. As a result, the Senators lost easy matchups against terrible defenses. To have a chance against a mentally fatigued Penguins team, Pinto has to lead the Senators’ offense.

The best game of the night will be the potential Stanley Cup Final preview between the Florida Panthers visiting the Dallas Stars. The last time the Stars and the Panthers met on the ice, the Panthers defeated the Stars in a 5-4 thriller.
Aleksander Barkov was among the top performers for the Panthers as he accounted for one goal and one assist. In the last three games for the Panthers, he has only accounted for one goal, but it was in games where the Panthers didn't need star talent.
In the three previous games, the Panthers took on the New York Rangers on the road, the Detroit Red Wings on the road and the Montreal Canadians at home, Barkov accounted for seven points with two points in each game, at least.
This game against the Stars is going to be a game that will demand the best performances from the star players. Barkov is a player that can easily find his groove and take the game over an elite team like Dallas.

One game that isn’t going to get much attention is the Western Conference battle between the Arizona Coyotes and the Minnesota Wild. This game has much more value in the sports betting field than in the race for the postseason.
The Wild and the Coyotes have met three previous times this season as Minnesota have won two of the last matchups. The Coyotes are one of the most underwhelming teams after the NHL All-Star Break. Their defense has allowed an average of 3.35 goals per game, which is 24th in the league.
One player who looks to have a better performance against the Coyotes is Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov, who has accounted for one point in each of the last two wins over Arizona.
Kaprizov has accounted for 25 points with 13 of them being assists in 16 games played. Two of the last four games played as performances where he accounted for two or more points. He should have a much more efficient performance against Arizona on Tuesday night.
