Best NHL Prop Bets Today March 20

There are three critical games in tonight’s slate of NHL matchups with two of them having huge playoff implications. These games are going to demand key players to step up and help contribute their teams to win. Tonight’s player prop bets are considered safe as it isn’t a huge risk, but there is a greater chance of winning some significant earnings if you make the bet on DraftKings.

Here are our favorite NHL player prop picks for Wednesday.

The following odds are from DraftKings Sportsbook, where NHL Prop Bets can be made. Check out the best NHL bonuses and promo codes for more betting opportunities!

Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Washington Capitals

The Toronto Maple Leafs have been in a tough stretch within the last few weeks against a brutal schedule. One of the biggest reasons for the Maple Leafs seeing some tough losses is due to the suppression of center Auston Matthews and forward William Nylander.

Tonight, the Maple Leafs go on the road to take on the Washington Capitals. This is a defense that hasn’t been elite since the first half of the season but has the defense to lock down the best players.

One player who has been stepping up for Toronto this difficult March is defender Morgan Rielly. In eight games played this March, Rielly has accounted for seven points with all of them being assists. Rielly has accounted for four assists within the last three games, all against highly efficient defenses.

It will be tough for Matthews and Nylander to get the offense rolling against the Capitals, which is why Rielly needs to be a key factor tonight.

Minnesota Wild vs. Los Angeles Kings

The final game of the night is set as the Minnesota Wild go on the road to take on the Los Angeles Kings. This game is a game in which the Kings should encounter a sufficient amount of points against the defense of the Wild which ranks 20th in the league in goals allowed per game (3.18).

One player who could be a game-changer against the Wild and rejuvenate the Kings’ offense that has struggled is forward Kevin Fiala. He accounted for two assists in the previous matchup against the Wild on October 19 where Los Angeles took a 7-3 win.

Fiala has one of the most productive players for the Kings this season, especially in the month of March. In eight games played in March, Fiala has accounted for a team-high six points with four of them goals. Look for the offense to be run through Fiala as the Kings look to lock down a Western Conference playoff spot.
