Champion Alexander Volkanovski will defend his featherweight championship for the third time since winning it at UFC 245 in 2019.

He defeated Max Holloway to win the strap and defeated him once again in an immediate rematch. Most recently Volkanovski defeated Brian Ortega via unanimous decision at UFC 266 last September in what was deemed the fight of the night.

He was expected to face Max Holloway once again but Holloway had to withdraw due to injury. Thus, in stepped Chan Sung Jung.

Jung, lovingly referred to as the Korean Zombie, is coming off of an impressive unanimous decision win over Dan Ige last June. This will mark his second shot at the featherweight title after fighting for the belt against Jose Aldo back in 2013. He was defeated via TKO.

Aljamain Sterling vs Petr Yan Odds

After defeating Jose Aldo for the vacant bantamweight title in July 2020, Petr Yan made his first title defense against Aljamain Sterling at UFC 259 last March.

In what would be a first in UFC history, Yan lost his title due to a disqualification in which he threw an illegal knee in the fourth round. Ever since, fans have been clamoring for the rematch.

Sterling has yet to fight since claiming the title, having to recover from injuries and surgery. During that time, Yan defeated Cory Sandhagen, claiming the interim UFC bantamweight title in the process.

Now the rematch has been set – a little over one-year since their first encounter.
