Of course, only the Japanese would come up with an invention such as this. I am not even sure you can call it an invention. Invention implies some form of purpose right? Anyways, Castrol, official sponsor of FIFA World Cup South Africa 2010, claims they were inspired by Real Madrid Galactico Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo, who is now sentenced to a 2 game ban, kicks at about 130 km/hr while the Free Kick Machine kicks at about 200 km/hr in what has been described as “a new world record!”
