Livescore.com slower than WSN
Published by William | Filed under Bookmakers, Miscellaneous, New Features, New Products
After making some internal adjustments to our very own WSN Livescore, we had reason to believe that we may very well offer the fastest live football scoring site in the world. But before we could go shout this from a mountaintop, we had to make sure what we were thinking was true with the empirical data to back it up. Lucky for us, we discovered just that and more…
After a bit of competitive research, we chose to benchmark ourselves against Livescore.com. In doing so we found some interesting things about Livescore’s site that we did not know before.
First and foremost, we found out what we initially set out to prove, that WSN Livescore is indeed faster than Livescore.com. Based on our empirical test, WSN’s Livescore is almost 2 whole minutes faster!! That is quite a significant gap, particularly when betting in-running.

But that’s not all we found. Not only did Livescore.com prove to be slower than WSN, it seems that they are manipulating their game clocks to make their information appear like it is updating faster! At times, Livescore.com will show the game clock to be as much as 5 minutes ahead of what the actual time in the match is! Just to make sure we weren’t crazy, we checked a few other sites such as Livegoals.com and Bet365.com and sure enough, they all had the same correct game time as us. Perhaps you are following along and trying to lay some in-running bets? This could seriously effect the value of a late game bet!

Along with Livescore.com’s consistent game clock gaffes, there are a few features that WSN Livescore offers that the aforementioned does not, such as providing starting lineups and available subs for every match. From there you can see who is being taken off, who has been booked for the match, who has scored and at what point in the game. Also available for your convenience is the ability to customize the page to show only the leagues of your choice. This allows you to focus on the matches you want without having to scroll up and down the page to find the fixture you are looking for. All the more reason WSN Livescore is the best the web has to offer.
Find out for yourself that the grass is greener (and scores faster) at WSN. Please post any and all livescore comments below about any speed differences you find between WSN and other sites on the net.
