NBA superstar Lebron James buys stake in Liverpool. Target: Asia (EPL Talk)
Lebron, Liverpool target the Asian market in their new marketing scheme. Hard to walk alone when you have Lebron peering over your shoulders. James will of course have no influence of the dealings of Liverpool. Just don’t bring Chris Bosh on board.

Finnish kid’s ridiculous penalty and ridiculous celebration (Who Ate all the Pies)
Penalty and celebration all in one. Showboating at its finest. Better be glad he scored…

Newcastle 2011/2012 Home Kit Leaked (Caught Offside)
Here you go. Looks a little blocky, and as if the black was just hot steamed onto the white. Not a fan.

On the other hand, check out Athletic Club de Bilbao’s new kit here (The Beautiful Gear). A little like Christmas but slick nonetheless. Really like the trainer top/jacket as well.

The Chelsea penalty that never was against Manchester United (The Dirty Tackle)
John Terry claims it’s “[Chelsea] vs. everyone.” Either way, the referee missed a clear penalty foul in the most crucial of crucial matches when Patrice Evra’s tackle on Ramirez went unpunished in the Champions League clash on Wednesday. Maybe that is a bit of payback for Torres’ dives and general shiteness. At least we have one leg in the Champions League that is still up for grabs.

Furthermore, can someone please explain the use and function of the goal line officials?

Police officer says Rooney should have been arrested for his behavior (The Telegraph)
Rooney serves a two-match ban for his antics following his goal in the come from behind win at West Ham United. This police officers sees “thousands of Rooneys” and wouldn’t hesitate to “lock him up.” Rooney lost his appeal by the way.

Newcastle’s Joey Barton is England’s No. 1 midfielder (The Spoiler)
This is his quote…
“Honestly, I think I’m the best English midfielder. Luka Modric and Samir Nasri are very good, but in terms of English players … Well, Jack Wilshere isn’t bad, but Frank Lampard’s on the way down and Steven Gerrard’s been injured a lot.”

Apparently he isn’t too keen on Gareth Barry either…
