The Boston Red Sox are one of the last teams in baseball to play their home opener. They had a brutal road trip to start the season, and while they won games, they didn’t consistently hit.
Boston and Baltimore should compete in a low-scoring game on Tuesday. We’re parlaying the under with the Reds and Yankees on the moneyline on FanDuel Sportsbook.
FanDuel Sportsbook offers new customers $150 in bonus bets when they wager $5 on the platform. To take advantage of the offer, register using our exclusive link.

The Boston Red Sox should be excited to return to Fenway after a 7-3 start to the season. Boston played well on their road trip but beat Seattle, Oakland, and the Los Angeles Angels.
The Mariners are comparable to the Red Sox, but Boston is better than Oakland and Los Angeles. The three blemishes on the Red Sox record came by one run, which shows Boston has been inconsistent at the dish.
The team needs help to get the big hit, and they will have an even more formidable challenge than usual against Corbin Burnes. Burnes is off to a great start with a perfect record, a 2.31 ERA, and a 0.86 WHIP.
He has also struck out 14 batters in 11.2 innings of work, and Boston is a massive strikeout team. Brayan Bello should also help keep the scoring down.
While he has a 5.4 ERA, Bello also has a 1.1 WHIP. His issue is the number of homers he allows, but this should improve with more time on the mound.

The Reds are making a push in the National League Central division. They have a tough divisional challenge against the Brewers at home on Tuesday.
The Reds are 6-4 and 4-3 at home. The Brewers are in a similar spot at 6-3 with a 3-1 road record. The reason were leaning toward Cincinnati is their starting pitcher, Frankie Montas.
Montas has been elite this season in two starts. He is 2-0 with a 0.77 ERA and a 1.03 WHIP. Over 11.2 innings, he has nine strikeouts, and only one homer allowed.
Spencer Steer should help supply Montas with plenty of run support. Steer has been swinging a big stick to begin the season with three homers and a .378/.465/.757 slash line.
Joe Ross has been known for control issues in his time on the hill. In 3.2 innings, he has walked five batters, which won’t result in a win on Tuesday.

The New York Yankees are one of the favorites to win the World Series. They have played at an elite level despite not having Gerrit Cole, the defending Cy Young winner.
New York is coming off a 7-0 win over Miami on Monday. Carlos Rodon will take the ball for New York. He hasn’t been great this season but is serviceable, and Miami is horrendous.
The Marlins are 1-10 and have a .285 team OBP this season. Their pitcher, A.J. Puk, is 0-2 with a nine ERA and a 2.83 WHIP. We expect the Yankees to cruise on Tuesday, even with Rodon on the mound.
Look for Juan Soto to continue smashing at the plate. In 2024, he is batting .357 with two homers and 10 RBI.
