Monday was yet another day in which we hit more prop bets than we lost and ended up on the positive side of things. That’s why we’re excited to keep things rolling on Tuesday. We’re mixing things up a little with both a home run pick and a walk pick, not to mention two pitchers we like against good lineups. Our odds are coming from DraftKings Sportsbook, which is giving new users $150 in bonus bets when they sign up and place a $5 bet.

Kyle Freeland starts for the Rockies on Tuesday. He gave up 10 runs on 10 hits over 2.1 innings on opening day, so he’s someone to fade. Surprisingly, he only gave up one home run in that disastrous start. However, we think he’ll be vulnerable to the long ball on Tuesday against the Cubs. That leads us to Bellinger, who has lucrative home run odds. While he hasn’t homered in 26 career at-bats against Freeland, he’s 9 for 26 (.346) with five doubles. He’s someone who could take Freeland deep.
Betting on a player to draw a walk isn’t the most attractive prop bet in the world, but it makes sense in this case. Swanson has drawn a walk in three straight games, so he's shown good patience at the plate. He’s been hitting down in the order, so he doesn’t have as much protection behind him. That means pitchers are more likely to be pitching around him, giving Swanson the chance to talk walks. Freeland, in particular, should be a little more careful after getting shelled in his last outing. That will lead to him being careful with Swanson so that he can get to the bottom part of Chicago’s lineup.

Gallen doesn’t have the easiest of matchups on Tuesday against the Yankees. But he was so sharp in his first start of the season that we have to think that he’ll keep the Bronx Bombers to two runs or less. Keep in mind that it's still early in the season, so he may not go much beyond five innings, making it a little easier to hit this bet. Gallen allowed just one run on three hits against the lowly Rockies in his first start. More importantly, New York's roster is hitting a combined .154 against Gallen, which doesn’t bode well for the Yankees in this matchup.

Bieber is another pitcher who is set up for success on Tuesday night. He struck out 11 over six scoreless innings in his first start, albeit against a dreadful Oakland lineup. But the Seattle lineup has been inconsistent thus far, making the Mariners vulnerable against a frontline starter. Outside of J.P. Crawford, not many Mariners have fared well against Bieber. In fact, Mitch Garver, Mitch Haniger, and Julio Rodriguez are a combined 5 for 36 (.139) against him. If those players are held in check, Seattle will struggle to scratch out more than a couple of runs against Bieber.
It's never easy to bet on a player who’s facing a pitcher like Luis Castillo. But Ramirez is 5 for 20 in his career against Casillo with all five of those hits going for extra bases, including three homers. That’s a telling stat, especially when Castillo gave up three extra-base hits in his first start of the season. While Ramirez is still trying to find himself this season, he’s always someone worth taking a chance on with plus odds.
