Best NRFI Bets Today: Luis Castillo Takes the Ball for Seattle
The Pirates and Mariners will battle on Saturday in what should be a game with limited offense. I have the Pittsburgh vs Seattle NRFI as one of two bets on my card for the day.

Pirates vs. Mariners - Mike Burrow vs. Luis Castillo (10:10 PM, EST)
Under 0.5 Run (-140) at Hard Rock Sportsbook
The Pittsburgh Pirates and Seattle Mariners will battle for the second consecutive day on Saturday. Seattle has lived up to their expectations and are very much alive in the American League playoff picture.
The Pittsburgh Pirates are focused on the future, and one of their important pieces will toe the rubber Saturday. Mike Burrows isn’t anything close to Paul Skenes, but he also doesn’t have to be paid a significant amount to stay in Pittsburgh.
Burrows has been solid in his 34.2 innings this season, but there is room for growth. He is just 25 years old, so the future is very bright for the young pitcher.
As long as he can stay clear of Cal Raleigh, he gives himself a very good chance to have a clean first inning. Burrows is 1-2 with a 4.15 ERA and a 1.30 WHIP.
Luis Castillo has the easier of the pitching matchups as he will throw for Seattle. Castillo hasn’t posted the best numbers this season, but he doesn’t need to against a team like Pittsburgh.
The Pirates are 38-51 and 12-30 on the road. They have one of the worst offenses in baseball, scoring 84 less runs than the Mariners this season.
I expect both pitchers to shine early in this game, giving us the six outs needed to cash this wager.

Astros vs. Dodgers - Framber Valdez vs. Shohei Ohtani (7:15 AM, EST)
Under 0.5 Run (-125) at Hard Rock Sportsbook
The Houston Astros posted 18 runs against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday. They took Fourth of July fireworks literally as balls were flying out of the yard.
Houston will have a much tougher challenge on Saturday because Shohei Ohtani will take the mound for the Dodgers. Ohtani has been dominant this season, and only throws a few innings every start.
He empties the tank, and this means his velocity is higher than most pitchers in the first inning. Ohtani has a 2.25 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP in just four innings of work.
Framber Valdez has also been fantastic in a much larger time period on the bump. Valdez is 9-4 with a 2.72 ERA and a 1.13 WHIP.
He has struck out 108 batters over 109 innings. While walks can be an issue for Valdez, he keeps the ball in the yard. This attribute gives myself confidence that he can hold up against one of the best offenses in baseball.

-
Red Sox vs. Nationals - Walker Buehler vs. Mitchell Parker: Buehler has no control, and Parker also struggles consistently with location.
-
Orioles vs Braves - Dean Kremer vs. Aaron Bummer: Kremer is known for giving up early runs, and the Braves have many power hitters at the top of the order.
