Emeka Egbuka is becoming one of the best receivers in the league as a rookie. I expect him to shine in this matchup against the 49ers, and he is headlining my list of props for the game.

Emeka Egbuka Over 67.5 Receiving Yards (-115) at Fanatics Sportsbook

My favorite player prop for Sunday’s game between the Buccaneers and 49ers is Egbuka to surpass his receiving yards line. Egbuka has done a great job filling in for Mike Evans.

Egbuka has the fourth most yards for a wide receiver, and the second most touchdowns at the position. He has 25 receptions for 445 yards to go with five touchdowns. 

In Egbuka’s last two games, he gas gone over 100 receiving yards and I see a similar performance in this matchup. Egbuka’s been targeted 17 times over this span, so Baker Mayfield looks to him consistently. 

Tampa Bay is sitting at the top in the NFC South, and Egbuka’s a big reason for the successful start. He’s currently the favorite to win the NFL Offensive Player of the Year award. 

I expect Egbuka to be a big part of the gameplan against the 49ers. San Francisco has dealt with a few injuries in 2025, including Nick Bosa, who tore his ACL in Week 3. 

The 49ers do a good job against the pass, allowing just 207.6 passing yards per game. This is the 14th best in the league, but I think they will struggle against Mayfied and Egbuka.

Baker Mayfield Over 238.5 Passing Yards (-115) at Fanatics Sportsbook

Baker Mayfield currently has the third-shortest odds to win NFL MVP. He has led Tampa Bay to a 4-1 record, leading the NFC South. 

Mayfield has thrown for 1,283 yards which is the third most in the league. He has thrown for ten touchdowns with only one interception, and this is a recipe for success in the NFL. 

Mayfield has easily cleared this line in his last two games throwing for 289 and 379 yards. His 379-yard performance came against Seattle who is considered one of the best defenses in the league. 

When Tampa Bay needs a score, it seems like Mayfied always delivers and that’s what I think he’ll do against the 49ers. 

The total for this game is currently at 47.5 and that's mainly because of Tampa Bay’s ability to score points in 2025. I think this will be another high-scoring contest where Mayfield will light up the box score.

Christian McCaffrey Anytime Touchdown (-185) at Fanatics Sportsbook

One of the best player prop bets to take is Christian McCaffrey anytime touchdown due to his usage in San Francisco. He’s been one of the best running backs in the NFL throughout his career, and he can score in multiple ways. 

McCaffrey has 91 carries in 2025, which is the second most in the league. He’s rushed for 282 yards on the season.

Despite this, the running back has scored all three of his touchdowns through the air. McCaffrey’s pass-catching makes him elite and difficult to defend. 

McCaffrey has scored a touchdown in each of his last two games and I think he extends this streak against the Buccaneers. He has 39 receptions for 387 yards on the season, which has matched quality wide receivers.

McCaffrey has been used as a safety valve for Jones, and this has led to points.
