Bengals vs Ravens Predictions and Prop Bets

Bengals vs. Ravens Predictions

The Bengals have four wins against four terrible teams: the Carolina Panthers, the New York Giants, the Deshaun Watson-led Cleveland Browns, and the Las Vegas Raiders. Despite that, they’re still viewed as a dangerous team, largely because of the excellence of Joe Burrow.

The Bengals’ QB threw five touchdowns last week and in the Week 5 matchup with the Ravens. He has a tall order ahead of him with his running game struggling and with Tee Higgins looking likely to miss the game with a quad issue, but he’s in a great rhythm.

On the other side, both Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry are having career-defining seasons and are firmly in the NFL MVP mix. Jackson had 403 total yards and four touchdowns in the earlier matchup with this foe, while Henry was held to 14 carries and 41 yards in regulation before he ripped off a 51-yard scamper in overtime.

Baltimore does a better job defending against the run than anyone but has the worst pass defense in the league. They give up 24.3 points per game, which is in the bottom 10 in the league and just about the same as the Bengals (25.2).

Bengals vs. Ravens: Our Pick

Both quarterbacks are not only two of the best in the league, but they are playing outstanding football. The Bengals don’t have any impressive wins but played the Chiefs and Ravens extremely tight, proving that they are more than a bad-team reaper.

Baltimore annihilated the Broncos last week and now has to battle complacency on its home field. They’re a better bet to win, but this is a very large spread for a Bengals team that can move up and down the field.

Bengals vs. Ravens Best Player Props

Joe Burrow Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (-160 at BetMGM sportsbook)

As we mentioned, Burrow threw five touchdowns in his last game and his last game against the Ravens. Baltimore gives up more passing yards per game than any team in the league and is 29th in defensive EPA per dropback pass, which means that Burrow should be able to find success through the air.

Derrick Henry Under 93.5 Rushing Yards (-115 at BetMGM sportsbook)

Henry is having a truly remarkable season, averaging 116.9 rushing yards per game on a career-high 6.3 yards per carry. However, he wasn’t even close to this line after four quarters the last time he met the Bengals and could have to take a backseat if the Bengals’ offense finds success and Lamar Jackson is asked to help keep pace.

Chase Brown Under 58.5 Rushing Yards (-120 at BetMGM sportsbook)

Brown, a second-year back who only got 44 carries last year, just ran 27 times for 120 yards as the Bengals beat up the Raiders last week. He averaged 62.5 yards since he became the starter six weeks ago but is about to run into a front that shuts down the running game of every team it meets.
