The Chiefs are 9-1 but have never been a great team against the spread. They have been finding a way to win close games with excellent quarterback play from Patrick Mahomes, but this doesn’t result in covers. 

Carolina can cover this high number if they can continue playing competitive football. If they limit their turnovers, they should be within the margin.

Kansas City is in first place in the AFC West at 9-1 and has the second shortest odds to win the Super Bowl. Patrick Mahomes is currently +1200 to win the MVP at FanDuel sportsbook.

Kareem Hunt has been a great addition to the Kansas City offense with the injury of Isiah Pacheco. With Pacheco’s return being unknown this week, we think Hunt will control most of the snaps. 

Hunt has 509 yards on the ground with five touchdowns in 2024. He also catches many balls out of the backfield, as he had seven receptions against the Broncos two weeks ago. 

With Hunt’s increased role in this offense, we like him to score a touchdown against Carolina.

Travis Kelce has had a very inconsistent season in 2024, but he is one of the best to play the position. In a game that the Chiefs should lead, Andy Reid will dial up plays for Kelce in the red zone to build some confidence. 

Kelce has 62 receptions for 507 yards with two touchdowns this season. It’s only a matter of time before Kelce puts together a few breakout games, and this is the perfect spot for him to do that against Carolina.
