The Astros take on the Mariners in an AL West divisional matchup. Houston is 24-31 trailing Seattle by 5.5 games. The Mariners are 30-26 and have a 3.5 game lead on the Rangers.
Houston is starting Spencer Arrighetti who is 2-5 with a 6.93 ERA. He has struck out 43 batters in 37.2 innings. In his last start he went five innings surrendering three runs off five hits against Oakland.
Seattle is going with Logan Gilbert who is 3-2 with a 3.06 ERA. His strikeout ability has been dominant in 2024 fanning 66 batters in 70.2 innings. Gilbert is coming off a six inning performance allowing just one earned run.
We expect Gilbert to have his best stuff on Thursday and to dominate the Houston bats. Look for Julio Rodriguez to have a great day at the plate as he is leading the Mariners in batting average at .269.

Boston hosts Detroit for the first game of the series. The Tigers are 27-27 in fourth place in the AL Central. The Red Sox are 28-27 trailing the Yankees by 8.5 games.
Detroit is starting Jack Flaherty who has struggled in 2024. He is 1-4 with a 3.84 ERA. Flaherty has really good strikeout numbers, but is also giving up a ton of hits per start. He has a WHIP of 1.08.
Boston is going with Nick Pivetta who is 2-3 with a 4.20 ERA. He has 33 strikeouts in 30 innings. In his last start he went 3.1 innings allowing five runs off seven hits. We expect Pivetta to bounce back in this spot against the Tigers.
Look for Rafael Devers to shine at the plate in this matchup as he is hitting .289 with ten home runs. Tyler O’Neil is contributing with the long ball for the Red Sox with 11 home runs..
Boston’s moneyline at -112 is a great price for this specific matchup.
Bet on Red Sox ML (-112) at FanDuel
To wrap up our parlay, we are headed to New York where the Mets take on the Diamondbacks. Arizona is 25-30 and in fourth place in the NL West. The Mets are 22-32 trailing the Phillies by 15.5 games in the NL East.
The Diamondbacks are starting ace Zac Gallen who is 5-4 with a 3.12 ERA. Although the numbers are not great in 2024, Gallen has proven to be one of the best pitchers in baseball over his career. He has struck out 60 batters in 57.2 innings in 2024.
The Mets are starting Christian Scott who is 0-2 with a 3.97 ERA. In 22.2 innings he has struck out 21 batters and has a 1.10 WHIP.
Look for the Diamondbacks to win this game behind Gallen and Christian Walker who is hitting a team best .266 with ten home runs.
We expect the Diamondbacks to be fresh in this matchup unlike the Mets who have played three games in the last two days against the Dodgers.
