The Yankees take on the Mets in a matchup featuring Luis Gil and Sean Manaea. The Yankees are 52-28 with a two-game lead in the AL East. The Mets are 37-39 in fourth place in the NL East.
Luis Gil takes the mound for the Yankees with a 9-2 record and a 2.77 ERA. He has struck out 97 batters in 81.1 innings and has a WHIP of 1.08. Gil has been excellent on the road, going 4-1 with a 2.48 ERA.
The Mets are starting Sean Manaea, who is 4-3 with a 4.16 ERA. He has 73 strikeouts in 71.1 innings. In his last three starts, he has gone 14.1 innings, allowing ten runs on 13 hits.
The Yankees are hitting .250 as a team which is ninth best in the league. We expect their offense to excel in this favorable matchup against Manaea.
Look for Gil to go deep into this game and for the Yankees to get most of their production from Juan Soto, who is hitting .305 in 2024.

The Braves take on the Cardinals in the second game of a double-header on Wednesday. Atlanta is 43-33 in second place in the NL East. St. Louis is 40-37, trailing Milwaukee by five games in the NL Central.
The Braves are going with Chris Sale, who is 10-2 with a 2.91 ERA. He has struck out 107 batters in 86.2 innings. Sale is currently +700 to win the National League Cy Young Award on FanDuel Sportsbook.
The Cardinals are starting Andre Pallante, who is 3-3 with a 5.23 ERA. He has 26 strikeouts in 32.3 innings and a WHIP of 1.62. Pallante is coming off a 5.1-inning performance, allowing five runs on seven hits.
We expect Pallante and the rest of the Cardinals pitching staff to struggle in this matchup with this being the second game of the doubleheader and them not having a true fifth starter.
Look for Sale to dominate the St. Louis lineup and get his eleventh victory.

To close out our parlay, we’re taking the Dodgers moneyline against the White Sox. Los Angeles is 49-31 with an 8.5-game lead in the NL West. Chicago is 21-59 in last place in the AL Central.
The Dodgers are starting Gavin Stone who is 8-2 with a 3.04 ERA. He has struck out 63 batters in 80 innings and has a 1.20 WHIP. In Stone’s last three starts, he has gone 18 innings allowing seven earned runs with 16 strikeouts.
The White Sox are going with Erick Fedde, who is 5-2 with a 3.05 ERA. He has 86 strikeouts in 94.1 innings and is coming off a seven-inning performance in which he allowed two runs on five hits against Detroit.
Fedde has been solid in 2024 for Chicago but has not been challenged as much as he will in this matchup against the Dodgers.
We expect Stone to give Los Angeles a great outing and for the Dodgers’ offense to score many runs off Fedde.
