Best NRFI Bets Today 04 11 2024

We have a few Cy Young candidates in action on Thursday, which is perfect for NRFI betting. Our favorite game on the slate for a no runs first inning bet is the Twins vs. Tigers matchup from Detroit.

There are a few other games we’re looking to bet on FanDuel Sportsbook, one of the best platforms for baseball betting.

Many bonuses are available on FanDuel through our exclusive link for new customers. If you bet $5 on FanDuel, you can receive $200 in bonus bets instantly, perfect for the first week of action!

Best NRFI Bets Today: Twins vs. Tigers (1:10 PM, EST)

1st Inning Under 0.5 Runs (-162) at FanDuel

Baseball players are creatures of habit. Major League Baseball has weekday start times, but these always favor the pitchers rather than the hitters.

Typically, players are at the field late the night before, and pitchers go home to rest. This can cause some lagging for position players, while pitchers are rested with a whole night's sleep. This is one of many reasons we’re eyeing the NRFI in the Twins vs. Tigers game.

The Twins and Tigers have two of the best pitchers in Major League Baseball on the mound to conclude their series. Pablo Lopez will pitch against Tarik Skubal, and these two wings are feared in the American League Central division

Lopez is 1-1 with a 2.84 ERA and a 0.87 WHIP. Over 12.2 innings, he has allowed just ten hits, nine strikeouts, and one walk. Lopez, like Skubal, does an excellent job limiting damage when they get in trouble.

Skubal has been even better than Lopez this season. He is 1-0 with a 2.92 ERA and a 0.73 WHIP. The pitcher has struck out 15 batters in 12.1 innings of work.

The one flaw with Skubal is that he has allowed two homers, which is the quickest way to lose an NRFI bet. However, neither offense has come into their own at this point in the season.

Minnesota is batting just .181 as a team this season, averaging 2.6 runs per game. The Tigers haven’t been much better, with a .218 batting average and a .292 team OBP. The combination of the pitchers and slow offenses makes the NRFI a viable betting option.

Best NRFI Bets Today: Orioles vs. Red Sox (7:10 PM, EST)

1st Inning Under 0.5 Runs (-122) at FanDuel

The Baltimore Orioles and Boston Red Sox will meet for the third time this season on Thursday night. The NRFI between these two teams is 1-1 in their first two games. However, it should have been 2-0 because, in game one, it was busted with a two-out, two-strike home run.

Even though the total is set at nine, the pitchers still are two of the best on their respective teams. Grayson Rodriguez will pitch for the Orioles, and he is 2-0 with a 2.19 ERA and a 1.05 WHIP.

Over 12.1 innings, he has allowed just ten hits with 16 strikeouts. His one flaw is that he allows homers, as he has surrendered three in his time on the mound.

Red Sox starter Garrett Whitlock has been great in his transition to a starter. The pitcher is 1-0 with a 0.96 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP. He has fanned 12 batters in 9.1 innings of work.

There are a few batters to watch out for at the top of each lineup, like Rafael Devers and Adley Rutschman, but these pitchers are talented enough to maneuver their opponents.
