We’re inching close to the end of the regular season, with Thanksgiving and Black Friday games this week. We also have a crop of unlikely starting quarterbacks, including Tommy Devito for the New York Giants and Tim Boyle for the New York Jets.
Below are the three best early-in-the-week prop bets for this Week 12 slate.
Let’s check them out, and don't miss out on the special Black Friday deals.
Heading into this matchup, Goff completes 68.1% of his passes for 2,742 yards. His average yards per attempt is a mere 7.6 yards. The line here against the Packers is 253.5 passing yards. He’s gone over this number in six of his ten games.
Earlier this season, he took on the Packers on the road. There, he had a season-low 210 passing yards, one touchdown, and one interception while averaging 7.5 yards per attempt.
He had 28 attempts in that game, also tied for his season-low.
The Packers allow less than 210 passing yards per game to opposing quarterbacks. This season, they’ve only allowed two passers to have 254 passing yards or more—Justin Herbert (260) and Kirk Cousins (274).
Sure, this game is in Detroit on Thanksgiving and in a dome, but it’s still on a short week against a defense that’s consistently held opposing quarterbacks to low passing yardage totals and 31.3 attempts per game.
Look for Detroit to turn to the run game here with David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs.

Here we go—it’s kicker time. Here, we’re focusing on another Lion, kicker Riley Patterson. His line for field goals made in this game is 1.5, and we’re taking the over.
In Week 4 against the Packers in Lambeau, Patterson was called on for two field goals and made both. The longest was 37 yards, and he also had four extra-point attempts.
This season, the Packers allow 2.10 per game, with 2.70 attempts against them per game.
We just discussed Goff’s passing performance and likely turning to a more run-focused approach, which could lead to some drives stalling out around the 20, which is on par with his longest attempt in Week 4.
Patterson should get some work in some clean conditions on Thursday.

As we all know, the Jets offense has been putrid for numerous weeks. They’ve scored 20 or more points in just four games this season, and since their win over the Philadelphia Eagles in mid-October, they have yet to score above 13.
This resulted in starting quarterback Zach Wilson, who’s started this season instead of an injured Aaron Rodgers, getting benched in favor of Eastern Kentucky Colonels alum and an undrafted free agent in 2018, Tim Boyle, to come in for him.
Boyle’s career started with the Green Bay Packers, and he was with Aaron Rodgers and offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, so this environment isn’t particularly new for him. He spent 2021 and 2022 with Detroit and Chicago, but he’s with the Jets in a system with which he began his career.
In relief of Wilson, he had 33 passing yards on just 14 attempts and an interception.
Now, leading up to Black Friday, he’ll have a handful of days to prepare against a Dolphins defense with three turnovers against the Las Vegas Raiders and quarterback Aidan O’Connell, but O’Connell also threw for 271 yards and a score.
The Dolphins allow over 240 passing yards and 1.5 touchdowns per game to opposing quarterbacks and opposing running backs average 84 yards per game and 0.60 touchdowns.
The Jets defense also has turnover potential.
With Boyle under center, the Jets will have a sense of re-energization, and they should score a couple of touchdowns here against a defense that can be thrown on.
Expect one passing touchdown and one on the ground for the Jets here.
