Austin Ekeler Anytime Touchdown (+165)
Aidan O’Connell Interception (-135)
Hunter Renfrow Over 27.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
Keenan Allen Over Receiving Yards (-110)
Week 15 of the 2023 season kicks off with yet another below-average matchup. On Thursday night, the Los Angeles Chargers will make the short trip to Las Vegas to face off against the Raiders. Neither team has gained any traction in the last two weeks.
The Raiders are coming off of one of the most boring games you could imagine on Sunday against the Vikings, where they lost 3-0. No one could get anything going in the Aiden O’Connell offense, and nothing tells us this matchup against the Chargers will be any different.
The Chargers have experienced many issues of their own but will look to right those wrongs against one of the worst teams in the league. Los Angeles comes into this game after losing 24-7 to the Broncos on Sunday. Quarterback Justin Herbert broke his index finger on his throwing hand and is now done for the year.
Even though this game isn’t overly entertaining, there are still countless ways to bet on the action. Let’s break down our SGP for TNF!
Our parlay starts with running back Austin Ekeler. There have been reports of the team supposedly “losing faith” in Ekeler, but his production seemed to remain the same. Last week, he carried the ball 10 times for 51 yards and a touchdown.
Ekeler has just five rushing touchdowns all season, which is much lower than his previous three, but this is a matchup where we can see him finding the endzone. Ekeler should be called on to handle a bigger role with Herbert out for the season.
The Raiders defense gives up a rushing touchdown per game on average. With backup quarterback Easton Stick making the start, Ekeler may also have opportunities for a receiving touchdown at some point. We expect Stick to rely on Ekeler to bail him out of trouble in the passing game. If the Chargers get inside the five, he can score in primetime.

The Chargers defense hasn’t been one to brag about in any situation this year. They seem to have endless talent at each position but just can't click at the same time. This defense has seven interceptions in the 13 games played this season.
Just like the Chargers' defense, Aidan O’Connell hasn’t had the best season. O’Connell has thrown five interceptions in his last four games and continues to make ill-advised passes into coverage. He’s very lucky this number isn’t higher!
We fully expect the Chargers’ pass rush to get into the backfield, causing O’Connell to make poor decisions and eventually put the ball into the defense's hands.

Hunter Renfrow has taken a backseat to Jakobi Meyers in 2023. Last season, Renfrow was used very often in short-yardage situations and managed to blow this over out of the water weekly.
The Chargers should focus more on double-teaming Davante Adams and locking down Meyers, leaving Renfrow open in short-yardage situations. With O’Connell in the game the last three weeks, Renfrow has hit this over each time.
Los Angeles’ defense is 28th in the league in pass defense, which should open up plenty of opportunities for Renfrow, especially since they will probably be down most of the game.

Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen has been a staple to this offense for quite some time. His involvement has consistently grown all season with the injuries to Mike Williams and Joshua Palmer.
Allen has been a solid pass catcher all season, and even with a backup quarterback, he should stay involved.
In Allen’s last five games, he’s averaged over 104 receiving yards. He’s been a threat to every defense in the league all season long, but it will be interesting to see how the quarterback change will impact his production.
The Raiders' defense gives up just over 200 passing yards per game, which is 17th in the league. We fully expect Allen to get his opportunities all game long, eventually surpassing this line.
