The Clemson University Fighting Tigers have graduated plenty of NFL worthy football athletes, with almost forty of them playing in the league in 2020, that number increased by 7 after the most recent draft.
These ten Clemson playmakers are becoming (football) household names, with two of them (receiver Sammy Watkins and cornerback Baushaud Breeland) winning a Super Bowl ring last season with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Here we take a look at some of the top former Clemson players now playing in the NFL, along with the predictions and odds of how they will do during the 2020 season.
Good luck.
As vital as the defensive Tigers are to their NFL franchises, the oddsmakers have not found a decent way to create wagers around their individual performances, so their names do not appear in most gambling books.
The offensive side of the ball is where all the football betting action lives, and here we take a look at the predictions and odds of four of the highest-profile Clemon Tigers now playing in the NFL.
Keep in mind the odds in these wagers will shift plenty of times before the actual games are played, so be sure to check back here often to get all the latest numbers.
Take the over on every one of these Clemson Tigers related NFL bets except Williams’ in Los Angeles – with such a big question mark at quarterback, he could take a hit in overall production.
The Texans and Watson just lost one of their premier playmakers (and fellow Clemson Tiger) DeAndre Hopkins to the Arizona Cardinals on a trade, so the strong-armed and superior scrambling Watson will have to make do with Brandin Cooks, Will Fuller and Randall Cobb, three worthy targets who should be able to post some impressive 2020 numbers.

At 28 years of age, DeAndre Hopkins should still be NFL-young-enough to have plenty of fuel left in the tank, and now with 2nd-year star quarterback Kyler Murray throwing footballs at him, expect his production to be every bit as good as it ever has been, the playmaker averaging 1,200+ yards per season at his former Texas home of seven years.

About to start his second NFL season, Hunter Renfrow should be ready to step up even further than he did during his rookie debut in 2019 when he posted 49 receptions for 605 yards and helped his team earn 30 first downs, all valuable signs that he is destined to be a contributor.

This will be Mike Williams’ fourth season in the league, and he will be following up a career year in 2019 where he posted over 1,000 receiving yards for the first time, though it will be interesting to see how effective he remains now that the team’s veteran QB Philip Rivers is gone, replaced by steady journeyman Tyrod Taylor, not known for making his receivers famous.
