Cristiano Ronaldo now belongs to Manchester United’s past. After the Portuguese grew frustrated with a lack of game time before World Cup 2022, he and the club agreed to terminate his contract last month. Anthony Martial has been the big winner, with the Frenchman now established as United’s go-to center-forward.

Manchester City vs Everton (10.00 AM EST)

My Pick: Over 3.5 Goals (-105)

Manchester City remain five points behind Arsenal at the top of the table, with Pep Guardiola’s side still the favorites to win the Premier League title with the best online sportsbooks. An Erling Haaland brace helped them to a 3-1 victory over Leeds United on Wednesday, and City will now be looking to follow that up with a win at the Etihad Stadium.

Seven of City’s 11 victories so far this season have featured at least four goals. With Everton stuck in a rut, this match could follow the same pattern.

Newcastle United vs Leeds United (10.00 AM EST)

My Pick: Leeds Under 0.5 Goals (+130)

It is now 20 years since Newcastle last finished in the top four of the Premier League, but there is hope at St James’ Park that Champions League qualification could be on the horizon again. The Magpies sit third in the standings ahead of this weekend, and they have even been tipped as potential title contenders.

Their success has been built primarily on a solid backline. No team in the division has conceded as few goals as Newcastle, whose backline has been breached on only five occasions at home. Back them to keep another clean sheet against Leeds.

Brighton & Hove Albion vs Arsenal (12.30 PM EST)

My Pick: Arsenal Over 1.5 Goals (-110)

Arsenal had to overcome adversity on Boxing Day. The Premier League leaders went behind to West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium, but goals from Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Eddie Nketiah in the second half earned them a 3-1 victory.

Brighton are also enjoying an excellent campaign and this will not be a straightforward assignment for the Gunners. Nevertheless, we fancy Arsenal’s chances of scoring at least twice at the Amex Stadium.
