2020 NFL Draft: Position of Team's First Drafted Player - Odds (Full 32 Teams)

Prop bets related to the 2020 NFL Draft are flying off the oddsmakers’ shelves, especially now that there are just a few more days left until the annual event takes place, this time virtually, starting Thursday, April 23 through Saturday, April 26.

Yes, the pro football draft will go on, with a unique and dispersed electronic format that has now become necessary given the current worldwide pandemic, and for each team that makes it even more challenging to determine which of these exciting young prospects to select.

Each franchise’s initial pick is considered the most valuable of the bunch, of course, so we take a look at the predictions and odds of the first drafted player (the specific position and whether it’s on offense or defense) for all 32 NFL Teams.

For most NFL teams, you can currently place a wager on whether their first pick in the draft will be on the offensive or defensive side of the ball as well as the specific position that they play on the field.

This bet gets interesting as the draft progresses because each team’s first selection is based not only on what their primary needs are but also on which players are still left on the board at the time of their pick.

You may notice that the odds of any team selecting either a special teams player or a tight end with their first pick are incredibly low, so bet accordingly.

All of these odds, of course, will vary as the draft moves closer and then as the live event progresses, so be sure to check back often for all the latest predictions and odds.

  • Running Back (+10000)
  • Safety (+10000)
  • Tight End (+50000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+100000)

Analysis

The Miami Dolphins are looking to draft their next franchise quarterback, so depending on how their medical team assesses Tua Tagovailoa, the injury-prone quarterback from Alabama, it will be either him or the OTHER Crimson Tide quarterback, Justin Herbert, who gets the call.

New England Patriots

2019 Final Record: 12-4.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 9.

Primary Needs for 2020: QB, WR, TE.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 23.

The New England Patriots Draft Specials are provided by DraftKings Sportsbook.

Playing Position of New England’s First Drafted Player

  • Offense                         -110
  • Defense                         -110

Exact position of the Patriots First Drafted Player

  • Linebacker (+300)
  • Quarterback (+350)
  • Defensive Lineman (+400)
  • Wide Receiver (+450)
  • Offensive Lineman (+700)
  • Cornerback (+800)
  • Tight End  (+700)
  • Safety (+1200)
  • Running Back (+5000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+25000)

Analysis

The Patriots seem content with young quarterback Jarrett Stidham taking over where the GOAT left off, but that doesn’t mean they won’t still try and snag a rookie QB in this draft, just most likely not with their first pick.

AFC North: Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, and the Pittsburgh Steelers

Baltimore Ravens

2019 Final Record: 14-2.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 11.5.

Primary Needs for 2020: OG, LB.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 28.

The Baltimore Ravens odds are provided by 888Sport NJ. Head to the sportsbook to bet on the NFL Draft Specials.

Playing Position of the Ravens First Drafted Player

  • Offense                                     +110
  • Defense                                     -134

Exact Position of the Ravens First Drafted Player

  • Linebacker (+175)
  • Wide Receiver (+275)
  • Offensive Lineman (+300)
  • Defensive Lineman (+400)
  • Cornerback (+800)
  • Running Back (+900)
  • Safety (+2000)
  • Tight End (+6600)
  • Quarterback (+15000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+50000)

Analysis

The Ravens are obviously set when it comes to their run game, so they could use their late first-round pick to either add depth to their defense by grabbing a linebacker or give their young, scrambling quarterback Lamar Jackson another speedy target to aim for.

Cincinnati Bengals

2019 Final Record: 2-14.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 5.

Primary Needs for 2020: QB, LB, OT.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 1.

Playing Position of the Bengals First Drafted Player

  • Odds Currently Not Available

Exact Position of the Bengals First Drafted Player

  • Odds Currently Not Available

Analysis

Absolutely everybody in the football world believes the Bengals will take LSU quarterback Joe Burrow with the first overall pick, and chances are that’s why the oddsmakers didn’t even offer any odds on this one.

Cleveland Browns

2019 Final Record: 6-10.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 8.5.

Primary Needs for 2020: OT, LB.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 10.

The latest NFL Draft Specials are provided by 888Sport NJ. Find more odds by visiting the sportsbook.

Playing Position of the Browns First Drafted Player

  • Offense  -455
  • Defense +340

Exact Position of the Browns First Drafted Player

  • Offensive Lineman (-305)
  • Defensive Lineman (+500)
  • Linebacker (+700)
  • Wide Receiver (+700)
  • Cornerback (+800)
  • Safety (+3300)
  • Quarterback (+15000)
  • Running Back (+15000)
  • Tight End (+25000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+50000)

Analysis

The Cleveland Browns desperately need to better protect their young quarterback, Baker Mayfield, and since they have already used free agency to snag a right tackle, Jack Conklin, they will most likely use their 10th overall pick in this draft to select their blindside man of the future from this tackle-heavy class.

Pittsburgh Steelers

2019 Final Record: 8-8.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 9.

Primary Needs for 2020: DT, OG, QB.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 2, pick 49.

The latest NFL Draft Specials are provided by 888Sport NJ. Find more odds by visiting the sportsbook.

Playing Position of the Steelers First Drafted Player

  • Offense  -125
  • Defense +103

Exact Position of the Steelers First Drafted Player

  • Defensive Lineman (+300)
  • Quarterback (+300)
  • Offensive Lineman (+400)
  • Running Back (+400)
  • Cornerback (+600)
  • Linebacker (+800)
  • Wide Receiver (+800)
  • Safety (+1200)
  • Tight End (+2000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+15000)

Analysis

The Steelers gave up their first-round pick in this draft to the Dolphins to acquire talented safety Minkah Fitzpatrick last September, so they won’t go until the 49th pick in the second round, where they will most likely try and look for either a solid O-lineman to help protect returning quarterback Ben Roethlisberger or else a young QB to begin understudying the aging Big Ben.

AFC South: Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Tennessee Titans

Houston Texans

2019 Final Record: 10-6.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 8.

Primary Needs for 2020: CB, DT.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 2, pick 40.

Latest odds provided by DraftKings Sportsbook.

Playing Position of the Texans First Drafted Player

  • Offense +118
  • Defense -143

Exact Position of the Texans First Drafted Player

  • Defensive Lineman (+250)
  • Cornerback (+275)
  • Offensive Lineman (+300)
  • Linebacker (+400)
  • Safety (+700)
  • Running Back (+1400)
  • Wide Receiver (+1400)
  • Tight End (+2000)
  • Quarterback (+10000)

Analysis

Since the Texans traded their first-round pick (plus next year’s first and second-round pick) to Miami for left tackle Laremy Tunsil, receiver Kenny Stills and a 2020 fourth-round pick, they won’t choose until round two, when they will most likely snag the best cornerback still available.

Indianapolis Colts

2019 Final Record: 7-9.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 8.5.

Primary Needs for 2020: WR, TE, Edge.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 2, pick 34.
The latest NFL Draft Specials are provided by 888Sport NJ. Find more odds by visiting the sportsbook.

Playing Position of the Colts First Drafted Player

  • Offense -182
  • Defense +149

Exact Position of Team’s First Drafted Player

  • Wide Receiver (+150)
  • Defensive Lineman (+300)
  • Quarterback (+300)
  • Offensive Lineman (+800)
  • Cornerback (+1000)
  • Linebacker (+1200)
  • Safety (+2000)
  • Running Back (+2000)
  • Tight End (+3000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+10000)

Analysis

The Colts traded the 13th overall draft pick for defensive tackle DeForest Buckner from the San Francisco 49ers, so they won’t select until the second round when they will most likely choose from the bumper crop of wide receivers to give their new franchise quarterback, Philip Rivers, another solid target.

Jacksonville Jaguars

2019 Final Record: 6-10.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 4.5.

Primary Needs for 2020: DL, CB.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 9.

Playing Position of the Jaguars First Drafted Player

  • Offense +125
  • Defense -155

Exact Position of the Jaguars First Drafted Player

  • Defensive Lineman (+200)
  • Offensive Lineman (+200)
  • Quarterback (+300)
  • Cornerback (+400)
  • Wide Receiver (+600)
  • Linebacker (+900)
  • Safety (+3300)
  • Running Back (+8000)
  • Tight End (+15000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+50000)

Analysis

Many 2020 mock drafts (including WSN’s) have the Jaguars grabbing Auburn defensive lineman Derrick Brown with their 9th pick, but they could also go the cornerback route and snag Florida’s exceptional C.J. Henderson if he’s still on the board by then.

Tennessee Titans

2019 Final Record: 9-7.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 8.5.

Primary Needs for 2020: DT, CB.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 29.

The latest odds are from 888Sport NJ. Find more NFL Draft odds by visiting the sportsbook.

Playing Position of the Titans First Drafted Player

  • Offense +110
  • Defense -134

Exact Position of the Titans First Drafted Player

  • Offensive Lineman (+250)
  • Defensive Lineman (+275)
  • Cornerback (+300)
  • Linebacker (+700)
  • Wide Receiver (+700)
  • Safety (+800)
  • Running Back (+1100)
  • Quarterback (+2000)
  • Tight End (+3000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+30000)

Analysis

The Titans could use some offensive line help to break open even more holes for running back Derek Henry, and even at the late part of the first round where they select (29th overall), there will still most likely be some top-notch talent at that position.

AFC West: Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders and the Los Angeles Chargers

Denver Broncos

2019 Final Record: 7-9.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 7.5.

Primary Needs for 2020: OT, WR.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 15.

Odds provided by 888Sport NJ.

Playing Position of the Broncos First Drafted Player

  • Offense -278
  • Defense +220

Exact Position of Broncos First Drafted Player

  • Wide Receiver (-200)
  • Defensive Lineman (+400)
  • Offensive Lineman (+500)
  • Linebacker (+600)
  • Cornerback (+700)
  • Safety (+3300)
  • Quarterback (+5000)
  • Running Back (+10000)
  • Tight End (+15000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+50000)

Analysis

The Broncos’ young quarterback, Drew Lock, could use some more breakaway targets to throw to, so general manager John Elway will most likely use their 15th overall pick to snag him a fast-moving target like Alabama’s Henry Ruggs.

Kansas City Chiefs

2019 Final Record: 12-4.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 11.5.

Primary Needs for 2020: CB, LB.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 32.

Odds provided by 888Sport NJ.

Playing Position of the Chiefs First Drafted Player

  • Offense +149
  • Defense -182

Exact Position of the Chiefs First Drafted Player

  • Cornerback (+200)
  • Linebacker (+300)
  • Defensive Lineman (+400)
  • Offensive Lineman (+450)
  • Running Back  (+500)
  • Safety (+600)
  • Wide Receiver (+800)
  • Tight End (+10000)
  • Quarterback (+25000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+30000)

Analysis

The 2019 Super Bowl Champs could always use help on defense (they were ranked 17th on that side of the ball last season despite winning the Lombardi Trophy), so look for them to spend the last pick of the first round on whatever the best cornerback or linebacker is still on the board.

Las Vegas Raiders

2019 Final Record: 7-9.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 7.5.

Primary Needs for 2020: WR, CB.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 12.

Odds provided by 888Sport NJ.

Playing Position of the Raiders First Drafted Player

  • Offense -225
  • Defense +179

Exact Position of the Raiders Drafted Player

  • Wide Receiver (-167)
  • Cornerback (+300)
  • Quarterback (+500)
  • Linebacker (+800)
  • Defensive Lineman (+1200)
  • Offensive Lineman (+1200)
  • Safety (+5000)
  • Running Back (+10000)
  • Tight End (+15000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+50000)

Analysis

Looks like the Raiders are going all-in on quarterback Derek Carr, so expect them to use one of their first-round picks to grab an elusive target, someone like Alabama’s Jerry Jeudy, who we have them snagging with their 12th pick in WSN’s 2020 mock.

Los Angeles Chargers

2019 Final Record: 5-11.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 7.5.

Primary Needs for 2020: QB, OT.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 6.

Odds provided by 888Sport NJ.

Playing Position of the Chargers First Drafted Player

  • Offense -715
  • Defense +490

Exact Position of the Chargers First Drafted Player

  • Quarterback (-400)
  • Offensive Lineman (+300)
  • Linebacker (+800)
  • Defensive Lineman (+2000)
  • Wide Receiver (+2500)
  • Cornerback (+2500)
  • Running Back (+10000)
  • Safety (+15000)
  • Tight End (+25000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+50000)

Analysis

The Chargers officially need a quarterback now, so expect them to use the 6th pick overall to snag whichever the best one still available is, which could be either Justin Herbert (Oregon) or Tua Tagovailoa (Alabama) depending on which guy the Dolphins grab with pick five.

NFC East: Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, and the Philadelphia Eagles

Washington Redskins

2019 Final Record: 3-13.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 5.5.

Primary Needs for 2020: WR, TE, OL.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 2.

Odds provided by 888Sport NJ.

Playing Position of the Redskins First Drafted Player

  • Odds Currently Not Available

Exact Position of the Redskins First Drafted Player

  • Odds Currently Not Available

Analysis

The Redskins need help everywhere (besides quarterback since they’re all in on Dwayne Haskins), so expect them to use the second overall pick to grab whichever the best player is on the board, most likely Ohio State’s EDGE rusher Chase Young, considered by many experts to be the best overall athlete in this draft class.

Dallas Cowboys

2019 Final Record: 8-8.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 9.5.

Primary Needs for 2020: CB, TE.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 17.

Odds provided by 888Sport NJ.

Playing Position of the Cowboys First Drafted Player

  • Offense +200
  • Defense -250

Exact Position of the Cowboys First Drafted Player

  • Cornerback (+175)
  • Defensive Lineman (+200)
  • Linebacker (+400)
  • Offensive Lineman (+500)
  • Safety (+700)
  • Wide Receiver (+1100)
  • Quarterback (+2500)
  • Running Back (+6600)
  • Tight End (+6600)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+50000)

Analysis

Now that the Cowboys are hitting the restart button (somewhat) with new head coach Mike McCarthy, they will focus on what mainly ails the team right now, and that’s their secondary – in our mock we have them taking LSU cornerback Kristian Fulton with the 17th pick.

New York Giants

2019 Final Record: 4-12.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 6.5.

Primary Needs for 2020: OT, Edge, LB.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 4.

Odds provided by 888Sport NJ.

Playing Position of the Giants First Drafted Player

  • Offense  -400
  • Defense +300

Exact Position of the Giants First Drafted Player

  • Offensive Lineman (-455)
  • Linebacker (+350)
  • Defensive Lineman (+1200)
  • Cornerback (+1600)
  • Wide Receiver (+2500)
  • Quarterback (+5000)
  • Running Back (+10000)
  • Safety (+10000)
  • Tight End (+25000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+50000)

Analysis

The Giants are in desperate need of a better offensive line to protect their young quarterback Daniel Jones, so they will most likely use the 4th pick overall to grab whichever one of the top four tackles in this draft class they like best (WSN’s mock has them taking Tristan Wirfs of Iowa).

Philadelphia Eagles

2019 Final Record: 9-7.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 9.5.

Primary Needs for 2020: WR, Edge.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 21.

Odds provided by 888Sport NJ.

Playing Position of the Eagles First Drafted Player

  • Offense -210
  • Defense +170

Exact Position of the Eagles First Drafted Player

  • Wide Receiver (-200)
  • Cornerback (+450)
  • Linebacker (+450)
  • Safety (+800)
  • Defensive Lineman (+1100)
  • Offensive Lineman (+1100)
  • Running Back (+4000)
  • Quarterback (+15000)
  • Tight End (+25000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+50000)

Analysis

The goal of the Eagles in the first round should be to snag quarterback Carson Wentz a worthy target, someone like Baylor’s Denzel Mims, or whoever the best receiver still on the board is at that point in the draft.

NFC North: Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, and the Minnesota Vikings

Chicago Bears

2019 Final Record: 8-8.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 8.5.

Primary Needs for 2020: G/C, S.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 2, pick 43.

Odds provided by DraftKings Sportsbook.

Playing Position of the Bears First Drafted Player

  • Offense  -121
  • Defense +100

Exact Position of the Bears First Drafted Player

  • Offensive Lineman (+300)
  • Cornerback (+350)
  • Safety (+400)
  • Wide Receiver (+450)
  • Defensive Lineman (+700)
  • Quarterback (+700)
  • Tight End (+800)
  • Linebacker (+1000)
  • Running Back (+3300)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+15000)

Analysis

Last season, the Bears gave up their first-round pick as part of the Khalil Mack trade (and that turned out great for them), so as a result, they will have to wait until the second round to add depth to their offensive line.

Detroit Lions

2019 Final Record: 3-12.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 6.5.

Primary Needs for 2020: CB, Edge, RB.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 3.

Odds provided by 888Sport NJ.

Playing Position of the Lions First Drafted Player

  • Offense +400
  • Defense -560

Exact Position of the Lions First Drafted Player

  • Cornerback (-200)
  • Defensive Lineman (+225)
  • Linebacker (+600)
  • Quarterback (+1200)
  • Offensive Lineman (+1400)
  • Wide Receiver (+2000)
  • Running Back (+10000)
  • Safety (+10000)
  • Tight End (+25000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+50000)

Analysis

The Lions had the second-worst overall defense in the league last year (only the Cardinals were worst), so expect them to use the 3rd overall pick to shore up their secondary with someone exceptional, like Ohio State cornerback Jeff Okudah.

Green Bay Packers

2019 Final Record: 13-3.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 10.

Primary Needs for 2020: WR, OT.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 30.

Odds provided by 888Sport NJ.

Playing Position of  the Packers First Drafted Player

  • Offense -225
  • Defense +180

Exact Position of the Packers First Drafted Player

  • Wide Receiver (+150)
  • Linebacker (+400)
  • Offensive Lineman (+450)
  • Cornerback (+600)
  • Defensive Lineman (+700)
  • Quarterback (+750)
  • Safety (+1000)
  • Running Back (+2200)
  • Tight End (+2600)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+30000)

Analysis

The Packers may not select until well into the first round, but this is a receiver rich draft with many teams having other more pressing needs, so Green Bay should still be able to find some high-level talent at that position with the 30th pick (WSN’s mock has them selecting TCU receiver Jalen Reagor).

Minnesota Vikings

2019 Final Record: 10-6.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 9.

Primary Needs for 2020: CB, WR.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 22.

Odds provided by 888Sport NJ.

Playing Position of the Vikings First Drafted Player

  • Offense +137
  • Defense -167

Exact Position of the Vikings First Drafted Player

  • Cornerback (-110)
  • Wide Receiver (+250)
  • Offensive Lineman (+300)
  • Defensive Lineman (+600)
  • Linebacker (+1100)
  • Safety (+3300)
  • Quarterback (+10000)
  • Running Back (+10000)
  • Tight End (+10000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+50000)

Analysis

In WSN’s 2020 mock draft, we have the Vikings addressing their need to add depth to their secondary (their passing defense was ranked 15th last season) by taking talented Utah cornerback Jaylon Johnson with the 22nd pick in the draft.

NFC South: Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, New Orleans Saints, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Atlanta Falcons

2019 Final Record: 7-9.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 7.5.

Primary Needs for 2020: Edge, CB.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 16.

Odds provided by 888Sport NJ.

Playing Position of the Falcons First Drafted Player

  • Offense +300
  • Defense -400

Exact Position of the Falcons First Drafted Player

  • Defensive Lineman (+100)
  • Cornerback (+175)
  • Linebacker (+500)
  • Wide Receiver (+1000)
  • Offensive Lineman (+1400)
  • Running Back (+1600)
  • Safety (+2500)
  • Quarterback (+3300)
  • Tight End (+10000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+50000)

Analysis

With the 16th pick, the Falcons could help their pass rush by snagging K’Lavon Chaisson, the large and speedy EDGE rusher from LSU who posted 6.5 sacks and 60 total tackles last season alone.

Carolina Panthers

2019 Final Record: 5-11.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 5.5.

Primary Needs for 2020: CB, LB, TE.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 7.

Odds provided by 888Sport NJ.

  • Quarterback (+1600)
  • Safety (+10000)
  • Running Back (+20000)
  • Tight End (+30000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+50000)

Analysis

The Panthers could use linebacker depth on their roster, and they are set to get way more than that with the 6th overall pick if Clemson’s Isaiah Simmons is still on the board, the star linebacker-plus with 7 sacks, 3 picks, 8 passes defended and 67 total tackles last season.

  • Safety (+1600)
  • Running Back (+2000)
  • Tight End (+10000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+50000)

Analysis

The Saints need more depth in their secondary but they could also use a young quarterback to study soon-to-be-retiring Drew Brees from the sidelines, so expect them to use the 24th pick overall to snag the best athlete still available on the board at either of those positions.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

2019 Final Record: 7-9.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 9.

Primary Needs for 2020: OT, RB, CB.

  • Wide Receiver (+800)
  • Cornerback (+1200)
  • Linebacker (+2000)

  • Quarterback (+2000)
  • Safety (+3300)
  • Tight End (+10000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+50000)

Analysis

The Bucs finally got their dream quarterback, Tom Brady, but he’s an “old” man, so they will most likely use the 14th pick overall to find him some decent protection, which should not be difficult in this O-line heavy draft.

NFC West: Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, and the Seattle Seahawks

Arizona Cardinals

2019 Final Record: 5-10.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 6.5.

Primary Needs for 2020: OT, CB, Edge.

  • Running Back (+15000)
  • Quarterback (+25000)
  • Tight End (+25000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+50000)

Analysis

The need for great offensive tackles is a recurring theme for NFL teams this offseason, and the Cardinals are one of those franchises needing to better protect their young quarterback, Kyler Murray, so expect them to use the 8th pick overall to snag one of the top four tackles in this class.

Los Angeles Rams

2019 Final Record: 9-7.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 9.

Primary Needs for 2020: G/C, OT.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 2, pick 52.

Playing Position of the Rams First Drafted Player

  • Offense +103
  • Defense -125

Exact Position of the Rams First Drafted Player

  • Odds Currently Not Available

Analysis

The Rams don’t select until the second round of the 2020 draft (but that’s because they now have stud cornerback Jalen Ramsey), so they will most likely use that 52nd pick to add offensive line depth to create bigger holes for running back Malcolm Brown.

San Francisco 49ers

2019 Final Record: 13-3.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 10.5.

Primary Needs for 2020: WR, OT.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 13.

Playing Position of the 49ers First Drafted Player

  • Offense -225
  • Defense +180

Exact Position of the 49ers First Drafted Player

  • Wide Receiver (-177)
  • Defensive Lineman (+300)
  • Cornerback (+700)
  • Offensive Lineman (+700)
  • Linebacker (+1000)
  • Quarterback (+2000)
  • Safety (+3300)
  • Running Back (+5000)
  • Tight End (+25000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+50000)

Analysis

The Niners hope to hit receiver paydirt again this draft season like they did last year with Deebo Samuel, and that could happen if either of the Alabama receiving stars – Jerry Jeudy or Henry Ruggs – is still on the board by pick 13.

Seattle Seahawks

2019 Final Record: 11-5.

Predicted 2020 NFL win total: 9.5.

Primary Needs for 2020: Edge, OL.

First Draft Pick of 2020: Round 1, pick 27.

Playing Position of the Seahawks First Drafted Player

  • Offense +137

  • Cornerback (+500)
  • Wide Receiver (+600)
  • Linebacker (+1000)
  • Running Back (+3000)
  • Tight End (+6600)
  • Quarterback (+15000)
  • Kicker/Punter/Long Snapper (+30000)

Analysis

The Seahawks need strong and fast line help on both sides of the ball, so expect them to take whoever the best lineman is still available at pick 27 – in WSN’s 2020 mock we have them grabbing Penn State EDGE rusher Yetur Gross-Matos.
