Best NRFI Bets Today 04 29 2024

It has been a full month since the start of the 2024 MLB season and already we are seeing some interesting situations unveiled. There have been multiple shifts in the divisions as new leaders emerge and former elites fall.

One big reason is the efficiency of the rosters, the injuries that have occurred, and the stellar performances displayed. Most teams find their success early in the games while others build on their momentum later.

This Monday night, there are great NRFI bets that will be created for big potential earnings. Among the biggest and potentially riskiest that's as the start of the AL East Divisional series between the New York Yankees and the Baltimore Orioles. Last year, the Orioles and the Yankees are among the top teams in the league when it comes to accounting runs in the first inning. This season, they're not as strong, but they have serious potential due to the rosters they have created.

Best NRFI Bets Today: New York Yankees vs. Baltimore Orioles (6:35 PM EST)

Under 0.5 Runs (+100) at DraftKings Sportsbook

One of the biggest games of the night as well as the biggest series of the new week is set as the New York Yankees (19-10) go on the road in a four-game series against AL East Divisional rival in the Baltimore Orioles (17-10). The Yankees are coming off a 2-1 series win over the Milwaukee Brewers where they scored 15 runs in the last two games. The Orioles are coming off a disappointing 2-1 series loss to the Oakland Athletics.

This game tonight has the chance to be one of the best bets of the night when it comes to the NRFI bet. Both the Yankees and the Orioles have the offensive firepower to account for high-scoring games. Going into game one, however, the Yankees and the Orioles will be starting two of their more efficient pitchers to start the series.

The Yankees will be starting Clarke Schmidt, who has accumulated an ERA of 3.55 in the five games played and started. He has allowed only 11 runs this season with none of them coming from the first inning. Outside of the Houston Astros, the Orioles will be one of the more difficult teams facing off against the plate.

Orioles Grayson Rodriguez has had a slightly more difficult season than Clarke, but he is still one of the more efficient pitchers in the division. In the five games played and started, he has accounted for a season ERA of 4.45. Through the first four games of the season, he only allowed two runs throughout the first inning with two coming from the Boston Red Sox. This past Tuesday was his most difficult game of the season as he allowed seven runs, one in the first inning, in the 7-4 road loss to the Los Angeles Angels.

Clarke is looking to continue his solid run in another start, this time against a divisional rival. Rodriguez looks to quickly rebound from his only bad game of the season.
