Sunday night promises to give us one of the most exciting matchups of the 2023 season. The undefeated San Francisco 49ers will host the 3-1 Dallas Cowboys in a game that could decide who wins the NFC’s top seed in the playoffs.
We have you covered if you want to make money on this thrilling NFC clash. Below, we will share why we like each leg of our favorite same-game parlay, giving you odds and insights to help you bet confidently this weekend.
The Niners will easily be the best offense Dallas has faced this season. The Cowboys have played against the Giants, Jets, Cardinals, and Pats to open the season. Now, they will need to adjust to an offense that has scored at least 30 points in all of their games. We haven’t seen this talented Dallas defense be tested since losing cornerback Trevon Diggs, but that will change tonight against a Purdy-Aiyuk combination that has thrived in 2023.
On the other side of the ball, we just aren’t sold on the Dallas offense. Dak is averaging just 6.7 yards per pass, which has boosted his completion percentage. Considering the Niners' suffocating run defense, Dallas will need Dak to lead drives down the field, which has rarely been a recipe for success.
We see the loss of Diggs being felt in a big way on Sunday night, leading to an impressive win for the Niners.

No running back has been better than Christian McCaffrey over the last four weeks. He is the league’s leading rusher, averaging an impressive 5.7 yards per carry. Dallas will present the most challenging test he has faced, but they did allow Arizona’s James Conner to rush for 98 yards just two weeks ago. We saw This version of CMC with the Panthers before his injuries, and he was nearly unstoppable. We expect to see more of the same on Sunday night.
One reason for CMC’s success in 2023 has been an effective passing game from the Niners. Brock Purdy has continued to play well, and he and receiver Brandon Aiyuk have connected for 320 yards over three games. That combo, along with George Kittle and Deebo Samuel, will capitalize on the absence of Trevon Diggs and affect the Cowboy’s ability to stack the box against CMC. That means more holes for the talented back, leading to his fifth straight game with over 73 rushing yards.

Aiyuk missed last Week 3 with an injury but didn’t miss a beat when he returned last weekend. The ASU product posted 148 receiving yards on six catches against the Cardinals, the second time he has eclipsed 125 yards in three games. The 25-year-old has shown he can be a great pass catcher, but inconsistent quarterback play has hampered him. Purdy has given him a consistent partner, and the two have formed an impressive duo.
We’ve mentioned the loss of Trevon Diggs a few times, but it is significant for this bet. Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel, and George Kittle give the Niners a trio of great receivers, putting a massive strain on the Dallas secondary. That and the threat that CMC will lead to enough open looks for Aiyuk to surpass 56 yards easily.

The price isn’t great on this one, but it is a safe option to give our parlay odds a little more juice. CMC has scored seven total touchdowns in four games this season, including three last week against Arizona. The veteran has scored at least once in each game, thanks to the Niners making him the centerpiece of their offense.
San Francisco will lean heavily on CMC on the ground and through the air. That will be especially true in the red zone. He has had the ball on at least 23 times in each game, and that volume makes a score all the more likely.
