Oakland has outperformed what we expected early in the season, but they’re still not a championship-caliber team like the Guardians. The Athletics have been good at keeping games close, but they haven’t been able to finish the job. 

Tristin McKenzie will pitch for the Guardians. He is 1-2 with a 6.23 ERA and a 1.77 WHIP. Although he has had a bad start to the year, he is much better than what he has shown. 

Oakland has one of the worst offenses in the league, and this is just what McKenize needs to get back on track. Joe Boyle will pitch for Oakland, and he has also been inconsistent. 

Boyle is 1-2 with a 5.68 ERA and a 1.82 WHIP. He has allowed 15 hits and eight walks in 12.2 innings. He doesn’t allow homers, but Cleveland doesn’t rely on the long ball to win games. 

The Guardians are batting .251 as a team compared to the Athletics at .209, scoring 46 more runs.

MLB Parlay Picks Today: White Sox vs. Phillies (6:40 PM, EST)

The Phillies have been so close to the World Series the past couple of seasons, but they have come up short. This year’s team looks determined to win, and they have one of their best pitchers on the mound in Spencer Turnbull.

The Los Angeles Dodgers are the most talented team in baseball. Their 12-9 record doesn’t show this, but the talent is outstanding throughout the roster. 

They will host the Mets, who have been pesky on the road with a 4-2 record. Yet, the advantage swings to the Dodgers because of their pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Yamamoto is 1-1 with a 4.5 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP.

He has struck out 21 batters in 16 innings of work and should have plenty against the Mets. New York can compete, but we believe they’ll return to earth following their four-game winning streak this week.
