It’s a happy Monday in the baseball world with 11 games on the schedule. That provides plenty of options for choosing MLB prop bets. We’ve decided to go with a pitching-heavy selection of props on Monday, as we look to improve on already being 20 units up on the season. All of our odds are from DraftKings sportsbook, which is giving new users $200 in bonus bets when they sign up and make a $5 bet.

Early in the season, Suarez might be Philly’s best pitcher. He’s 3-0 with a 1.73 ERA with the Phillies winning all four of his starts. He’s also struck out at least seven batters in three of his four starts, which is why we’re surprised his over/under is only at 5.5 strikeouts. Nevertheless, we’ll take advantage of that low number on Monday. Suarez will face the Reds, who average 9.7 strikeouts per game. With Suarez lasting at least six innings in his last three starts, he should have enough time to reach six strikeouts.
Our one hitter prop on Monday is Turner, who is red-hot at the moment. He’s in the midst of a 10-game hitting streak and has recorded multiple hits in four of his last five games. Turner also has a double in five of his last six games. The kicker is that Turner is 5 for 9 with a home run in his career against Cincinnati starter Hunter Greene. If we could go over 2.5 total bases with Turner, we probably would, which is why over 1.5 total bases is an easy choice.

This isn’t a prop category we use a lot, but it’s a lucrative one if you feel good about a specific pick. Obviously, the Tigers need to beat the Rays for this prop to hit. Detroit is 8-3 on the road this season while the Rays are just 7-7 at home. Skubal has also pitched at least five scoreless innings in two of his four starts, earning the win both times. He’s also lasted at least six innings in three of his four starts, which is another factor that helps a starting pitcher to get the win.

If you follow along every day, you’ve probably seen Singer’s name a lot this year. Look for that to continue because the guy is 2-0 with a 1.54 ERA after four starts. He’s allowed two earned runs or less in all four of those starts, so there’s no reason not to think that Singer can do that again. He’s given up three hits or less in three of those four starts, so it’s not as if opposing teams have a lot of scoring opportunities against him. Singer also has excellent numbers against most of the hitters in Toronto’s lineup.

Cease is off to a great start with a 1.99 ERA after four starts. He’s held all four teams to four hits or less. But we’re not ready to drink the Kool-Aid on him, especially since he has to pitch at Coors Field on Monday. That ballpark is so spacious that it’s hard not to give up base hits. Also, players like Charlie Blackmon and Ryan McMahon at the top of the Colorado lineup have good career numbers against Cease. In fact, the first three hitters in Colorado’s lineup are all batting over .300. Even if it doesn’t lead to a lot of runs, the Rox will get some hits against Cease.
