The Bucks’ Stars Keep Pulling Them Through
The Milwaukee Bucks run a very egalitarian offense. They are usually the sportsbook’s favorite because of their star power though. In their last match against the Toronto Raptors, it was the trio of Holiday, Middleton, and Antetokounmpo that powered them through.
Despite just a one-point difference through the third quarter, the Bucks were able to outscore the Raptors by six in the final quarter to take their victory.
While the Pelicans have a plethora of options, there are still questions about who they can go to in the clutch. If it becomes a closely contested game, the Bucks have the experience to bring it home.

Attack the Paint!
The New Orleans Pelicans don’t have the most technically skilled roster in the NBA, at least not outside of their starting lineup. But they can make up the skill difference through grit and effort.
Ranked fifth overall in rebounds per game as well as seventh overall in free throw attempts, the Pelicans know how to get on the boards and find extra possessions. While the combination of Antetokounmpo and Lopez won’t make it easy on them, Williamson and Adams are no slouches in the paint.
Against the fastest-paced team in the NBA, the New Orleans Pelicans can beat the odds with their effort.
Bucks Key Player: (G) Jrue Holiday
Jrue Holiday hit the game-winning shot for the Milwaukee Bucks, right after putting the Raptors’ Pascal Siakam on skates. Despite that, Holiday had a forgettable night.
In his last match, Holiday posted seven points, seven assists, and seven rebounds on three of 14 shooting on the evening. His inefficiency from the field was worrisome but made up for by his All-Star teammates.
Against a strong interior team like the Pelicans, Holiday will need to improve on his accuracy. One of eight from deep, as he had against the Raptors, is unlikely to be bailed out again.
Pelicans Key Player: (F) Brandon Ingram
Brandon Ingram has taken massive strides by this point in his career. At 23 years old, Ingram is looking like a true NBA star.
Ingram is averaging 23.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game over 35.1 minutes per game. His shot selection and offensive savvy are unique for his age, as he shoots 47.9% from the field and 40% from three.
The offense won’t be his only focus in this game though. Ingram will have his hands full trying to guard Middleton and Antetokounmpo, so he’ll need to be solid defensively so he can stay on the court.
