NFL Prop Bets Week 16

Week 16 of the 2023 NFL Season will bring out the best in teams as it is time for several teams to make their final playoff push. The many open spots in the playoffs and seven wide-open divisions will push players to be at their best. This weekend will be a stellar opportunity for NFL fans and casual bettors to win significant earnings by betting player props through DraftKings.

The following odds are from DraftKings Sportsbook, where NFL Prop Bets can be made.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Tennessee Titans

My Pick – Geno Smith Prop to Account for Over 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (+114) at DraftKings

Last week, the Seattle Seahawks shed a four-game losing streak by defeating the Philadelphia Eagles at home on Monday Night Football 20-17. This was the second game that Drew Lock started for the Seahawks since the Russell Wilson trade.

First-string quarterback Geno Smith had missed the previous two games due to a groin injury but expects to be back as the Seahawks take on the Tennessee Titans on the road. This game has the potential to be a huge emergence for the Seahawks as a competitor in the NFC playoffs and Smith back under center.

The Titans' defense ranks 21st in the league in passing yards allowed per game (226.4). They’ve allowed 15 of the 27 touchdowns this season to come from the passing game. The last time Smith played for the Seahawks, he threw for three touchdowns in the 41-35 road loss to the Dallas Cowboys in week 13. That was the fifth time this season that Smith threw for multiple touchdowns.

Dallas Cowboys vs. Miami Dolphins

My Pick – Christian Wilkins Prop to Account for Over 0.25 Sacks (+160) at DraftKings

The biggest matchup of week 16 is set as the Dallas Cowboys go on the road to take on the Miami Dolphins. This game will have huge implications for the playoffs for both teams as the Cowboys look to win the NFC East and the Dolphins look to win the AFC East.

Many players on the Miami Dolphins are having stellar seasons on both sides of the ball, but one player in particular is defensive tackle Christian Wilkins. In 14 games this season, Wilkins has accounted for 54 total tackles, 30 solo tackles, eight sacks, and 10 tackles for loss.

Wilkins has had some variation of a sack through the last four games for the Dolphins. He has accounted for 3.5 sacks in the last four games. He will take on a Cowboys offensive line that has deteriorated in the interior. If there is a weakness on the Cowboys’ offensive line that could be utilized it will come from Wilkins.

New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles

My Pick – Tommy DeVito Prop to Account for Under 184.5 Passing Yards (-115) at DraftKings

The New York Giants had a second chance for the NFC wild card after the emergence of quarterback Tommy DeVito up until last week. DeVito had been a reliable game-managing quarterback for the Giants, something they haven't had all season, as he led the Giants to three huge wins leading up to last week.

Against the Saints this past weekend, DeVito was not at fault for the 24-6 loss, but he didn't create scoring opportunities for the offense either. DeVito has not had a game where he passed for over 200 yards since the 31-19 win at the Washington Commanders.

The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off an incredibly disappointing loss at the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football. The defense, now coached by Matt Patricia, was stellar up until the last drive of the game. They will look to redeem themselves by limiting the potential targets of DeVito and constantly pressuring him in the pocket.
