  • A fun futures bet where you predict from which division the Big Game winner will emerge
  • The top two favorites are in the AFC, with the West and East upgrading this offseason
  • The 2022/23 NFL regular season starts Thu, Sept 8, 2022, and runs thru Feb 12, 2023

For any sports gambler who loves to bet NFL futures, this is a fun one where you get to predict from which division the eventual Super Bowl LVII winner will emerge, a divisional shift in power that changes every offseason as teams adjust their rosters and hopefully their chances to win.

The top two favorites here are in the AFC, with the West and the East of that division both upgrading for the last several months, though the NFC West also looks promising in 2022, that is if the LA Rams can defy the Super Bowl repeat-winner’s curse as a few teams have done.

Also keep your NFL eyes on the AFC North and the NFC South, but don’t worry too much about the AFC South and NFC East, those two the biggest underdogs to produce a team that wins Super Bowl LVII, a lot to consider as we share our predictions, odds, and picks for a winner.

AFC West

With four strong contenders in play for the 2022 regular season, the AFC West becomes a solid bet here, especially with the major offensive upgrades that were made to the Broncos and Raiders.

Favorites to Win

AFC West – the KC Chiefs may have lost the Cheetah, WR Tyreek Hill, but they still have arguably one of the best QBs in the league in Patrick Mahomes, and now that the Denver Broncos have QB Russell Wilson under center, they become a threat on both sides of the ball.

The LA Chargers have all sorts of weapons at HC Brandon Staley’s disposal, mainly big-armed QB Justin Herbert and the run game of tough-to-tackle RB Austin Ekeler, and with the Las Vegas Raiders sponsoring the Derek Carr and Davante Adams reunion, the AFC West is tough.

AFC East – if you believe in the magic that is NY Jets QB Zach Wilson and his new rookie target WR Garrett Wilson, this division looks hot now especially when you consider how (relatively) athletic New England Pats QB Mac Jones has become targeting DaVante Parker.

The reports from Miami Dolphins’ new WR Tyreek Hill regarding QB Tua Tagovailoa sound optimistic as TE Mike Geisicki continues his NFL climb, and the Buffalo Bills now have rookie CB Kaiir Elam to counterbalance the strong-armed offense led by QB Josh Allen in his 5th year.

NFC West – with J.J. Watt leading the Arizona Cardinal defense and a reignited QB Kyler Murray tossing to A.J. Brown they look tough to beat and once the San Fran 49ers can decide who’s under center they can continue to rock the NFC West led by their Nick Bosa led defense.

There is no telling what the Seattle Seahawks will look like this season without longtime QB Russell Wilson under center, but Geno Smith might do the job well enough with DK Metcalf, and the Sean McVay LA Rams will do whatever they can to earn a follow up Super Bowl win.

AFC North – there a few unanswered questions in the AFC North, like who will be the Cleveland Browns QB to start the season, though their roster is otherwise Super Bowl worthy, same with the Cincy Bengals led by QB Joe Burrow and his magical receiver Ja’Marr Chase.

Pittsburgh Steelers must decide whether to start Mitch Trubisky or rookie Kenny Pickett under center and they still have the power of TJ Watt’s awesome defense, and no matter if Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson finally gets paid, he and HC John Harbaugh are now ready to win.

No Chance to Win

AFC South – the underdog here is having a tough time in the NFL, with the Houston Texans looking weak without the possibility of QB Deshaun Watson playing there, and it might take a while for the Jacksonville Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence to recover from his tough rookie season.

The Tennessee Titans will be getting back a healthy RB Derrick Henry so he and QB Ryan Tannehill should be able to continue their one-two punch where they left off, and now the Indianapolis Colts led by veteran QB Matt Ryan should be an interesting experiment in 2022.
