The Seattle Seahawks (2-1) are coming off back-to-back wins and are flying across the country to take on the struggling New York Giants (1-2) on Monday Night Football in Week 4 of the NFL.
Both playoff teams from a year ago, we’ve put together our favorite parlay from the impending matchup on MNF. Here’s how our Seahawks vs. Giants parlay looks…
The Seahawks got off to a slow start with a three-score loss to the Los Angeles Rams, but they’ve bounced back with strong offensive performances in wins against the Detroit Lions and Carolina Panthers and now face a Giants team that ranks 30th in points allowed. Seattle’s defense has not been much better, but the Giants’ offense is still yet to get out of the blocks.
Walker scored two touchdowns in each of the last two games and consistently gets a large chunk of work around the goal line. The Giants have allowed two rushing touchdowns per game which, fittingly, is also 30th in the league.
Jones is yet to look like a player worthy of the $160 million contract he agreed to in the offseason. He was given no chance at success by the San Francisco 49ers defense on Thursday Night Football last week but has an extended period of rest to prepare. He’s also hit more than 31.5 yards in two of three games, and his offensive line is so bad that he’ll need to scramble just to stay upright.
Lockett hasn’t been very productive in the final box score but has 17 targets over the last two weeks and has hit more than 25 yards in both instances. He’s also a favorite of Geno Smith on scoring opportunities and will get to work against a cornerback pairing that has an average age of 22.5.
Nighttime unders have been money recently. They’re 9-3 this year and 49-25 over the last two, but this alternate line for two teams that have surrendered a combined average of 62 points per game and that also have capable offenses is too much to pass up.
