Week 14 of the 2023 NFL Season is set to be a do-or-die moment for most of the NFL playoff contenders. Now it's time for some of the remaining teams in the NFL to finalize their game plans and make a strong postseason push.

One of the top divisional games in the weekend is set for the potential decider of the end of the NFC West division as the Seattle Seahawks (6-6) go on the road to take on the San Francisco 49ers (9-3). The Seahawks are hoping to avoid getting swept by the 49ers for a second consecutive season and to help some momentum for a playoff push. The 49ers are looking to dominate once again after another stellar win last week, this time over the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Seahawks started the season with a tough divisional loss to the Los Angeles Rams 30-13 loss. They went on to win three consecutive games, one being a 37-31 overtime win at the Detroit Lions. They were able to win two of the next four games but were more than capable of being 3-1 during that time after the bye week. Seattle has won only one game in their last five matchups as they are also currently on a three-game losing streak.

The 49ers have been the most efficient team in the NFL since the start of the season. San Francisco dominated with five consecutive wins to start the season with huge outcomes. After a tremendous 42-10 when at home against the Dallas Cowboys in week 5, the 49ers fell 2 significant injuries on the office side of the ball. They never scored above 17 points in the three losses. After their stars came back from injuries, the 49ers continued to play nearly perfect football as they dominated their way to 4 consecutive wins, with three of them being against teams that are projected to make the playoffs. San Francisco is coming off a 42-19 road win over the Philadelphia Eagles, who still have the best record in the NFL.

Seahawks vs 49ers Prop Bets

Seattle Seahawks vs. San Francisco 49ers Best Prop Bets

Pick #1 – Over 65.5 Receiving Yards from San Francisco 49ers Wide Receiver Brandon Aiyuk (-115) at DraftKings

The San Francisco 49ers have a lot of dynamic weapons that have helped them become the third-ranked scoring offense (29.3 points per game) in the third-ranked total offense (391.9 total yards per game). Running back Christian McCaffrey, wide receiver Deebo Samuel, and tight end George Kittle are the three players who have traditionally made the 49ers one of the most dynamic offenses within the past few seasons.

There is, however, another player who is having a career year and is making the 49ers even more dangerous. Wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk has accounted for 50 receptions for 927 yards and six touchdowns. He has four games this year where he has accounted for over 100 yards.

In the week 11 game against the Seahawks, Aiyuk was targeted only four times as he caught two receptions for 50 yards and a touchdown. With the Seahawks' defense looking to take away some of the main weapons of the 49ers such as Samuel and Kittle, Aiyuk may have one of his best games yet this season in a season where he is looking to make his first Pro Bowl appearance.

Pick #2 – Under 242.5 Passing Yards from Seattle Seahawks Quarterback Geno Smith (-115) at DraftKings

This has been a difficult season for the Seattle Seahawks offense and quarterback Geno Smith. Injuries, inconsistent play from the offensive line, and poor game management from the coaching staff have limited the potential and productivity of the offense.

While Smith is not the standout passer he was last using, he has certainly been under fire constantly from the opposing offenses. Smith has been held to below 200 yards passing in a game due to injuries and the Seahawks' offense was unable to contain the opposing defense.

Two weeks ago, Smith threw for 180 yards an interception in the 31-13 home Thanksgiving Day loss to the 49ers. San Francisco is looking to dominate at the line of scrimmage and limit the dynamic offense of the Seahawks once again. They can start by consistently getting in the backfield to force Smith to throw interceptions or quick incomplete.

Pick #3 – Over 0.25 Sacks from San Francisco Defensive End Chase Young (-105) at DraftKings

The San Francisco 49ers were among some of the teams that bought into the process of the NFL trade deadline. They made the quick and easy move to trade for the former second overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft in defensive end Chase Young from the Washington Commanders.

Since being traded, Young has had some good but not elite impactful moments for the 49ers’ defense. In four games played, Young has accounted for 1.5 sacks and a tackle for loss.

He and a large selection of dominant pass rushers have a chance to make their mark in the backfield of the Seahawks offense. The offensive line of the Seahawks has been battling through significant injuries and inconsistent play as they have allowed 28 sacks this season. This is an offense that may not run the ball much due to the injuries of the running backs. If there is a game for Young to make an impact and his best game yet this season, it will be against the Seahawks.
