Broncos vs Chiefs Predictions

Week nine of the 2023 NFL Season will bring some of the best matchups yet this season. One key game that will have major implications for the NFL Playoffs is set for the Seattle Seahawks (5-2) going on the road to take on the Baltimore Ravens (6-2). This will be a game that will feature many betting opportunities as one of the most dynamic offenses in the league, the Ravens, will be taking a potential rebirth of the Legion of Boom with the Seahawks’ defense.

The Seattle Seahawks started the season with a tough winnable game at home to the Los Angeles Rams but lost 30-13. They went on to win three consecutive games, including a road win over the Detroit Lions in overtime. Seattle rebounded from their tough road loss to the Cincinnati Bengals with two wins at home over the Arizona Cardinals and the Cleveland Browns.

The Baltimore Ravens got off to a 2-0 start that included an AFC North Divisional title win over the Cincinnati Bengals. The Ravens then lost two of their next three games, with those opponents being the Indianapolis Colts and the Pittsburgh Steelers. They are currently on a three-game winning streak, with their biggest win being a 38-6 home domination over the Detroit Lions.

Seattle Seahawks vs. Baltimore Ravens Best Prop Bets

Pick #1 - Over 43.5 Rush from Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (-115)

Whenever Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson rushes Over 10 times any game, he will certainly make an impact in the rushing game by rushing over 60 yards. The Ravens have the third-ranked rushing offense in the league by averaging 143.1 yards per game, with most of the impact from Jackson himself.

The Seattle Seahawks are looking to revitalize their defense with the legion of boom with their young talent in the secondary and the defensive line after multiple additions during the offseason and this early portion of the season. The Seahawks traded for New York Giants defensive tackle Leonard Williams, who will certainly make an impact in stopping the run and creating a great pass rush.

Jackson will certainly be limited in the rushing game, but he can account for some significant yardage due to the system of their offense.

Pick #2 - Over 30.5 Rush from Seattle wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba (-115)

Jaxon Smith-Njigba has not been the explosive weapon that the Seattle Seahawks hoped for in the early portion of his rookie season. Smith-Njigba has had problems getting open and staying active when the ball isn't thrown his way.

Over the last three games, however, Smith-Njigba has been gaining some progress toward becoming a reliable playmaker for the Seahawks' dynamic and challenged offense. He has accounted for at least 35 yards in each of the last three games as injuries along the star wide receivers have been building.

It is unclear how much of an impact the potential injury to Tyler Lockett will have, but the Seahawks' offense is looking to build the confidence of Smith-Njigba anyway, as they were trying to give him the ball in more situations.

Pick #3 - Over 0.25 Sacks from Baltimore defensive tackle Justin Madubuike (+114)

The right side of the offensive line for the Seattle Seahawks has been awful this season. Second-year right tackle Abraham Lucas suffered a knee injury in the first game of the season against the Los Angeles Rams and has not returned since. The Seahawks tried putting Jake Curhan at right tackle, but he has been bullied by more elusive pass rushers.

The interior offensive line for the Seahawks has also suffered significant injuries and poor performances trying to keep the pocket clean for quarterback Geno Smith.

Through eight games of this season, defensive tackle Justin Madubuike has been the sack leader for the elite defense. Madubuike accounted for 6.5 sacks the season as he is an incredibly talented interior pass rusher.
