West Virginia iGaming operator Betly has announced a strategic partnership with White Hat Studios, a move designed to bolster its content library and help it compete with the best online casinos in West Virginia.
Under the new agreement, Betly will integrate a suite of popular slot titles, including the Seven Fire Blitz series and branded hits such as Ted and The Goonies. The deal also introduces White Hat’s Jackpot and Jackpot Royale Express mechanics, which layer progressive prize potential on top of existing titles.
In a first for the operator, the collaboration will launch "Betly Player’s Choice Blackjack," marking the upstart iGaming brand’s entry into bespoke, branded table games.

Betly is the interactive arm of Delaware North, the international hospitality and gaming giant that owns two land-based venues in the state: Wheeling Island Racetrack and Mardi Gras Casino Resort.
Since its West Virginia debut in 2020, the Betly brand has faced significant hurdles. An initial launch using IGT technology struggled to gain market share, prompting a platform migration to Gamewise and a brand relaunch in August 2023. Despite these efforts, the app’s performance has remained modest compared to industry leaders.
Currently, West Virginia is the only jurisdiction where Delaware North operates a full online casino product. While the company holds sports betting operations in Ohio and Arkansas (where it also operates Southland Casino), it recently announced plans to exit the Tennessee market by the end of 2025 to focus on states where it has a physical footprint.
The partnership provides Betly with access to some of the industry’s best slot games and a portfolio that has rapidly gained traction in North America. White Hat Studios, the US arm spun off following the 2021 acquisition of Blueprint Gaming, entered the US market in 2022 and became the first supplier licensed in all seven iGaming states.
According to data from Eilers & Krejcik Gaming, White Hat now commands a 6% slot market share in legal US markets. This growth is driven by their flagship title, Almighty Buffalo Megaways, and a robust catalog of intellectual property (IP) slots featuring themes from Rick and Morty, Peaky Blinders, and Black Mirror.
By partnering with a provider that supplies major operators like DraftKings, FanDuel, and BetMGM, Betly aims to leverage this new content—specifically the exclusive branded blackjack and progressive jackpots—to capture a more significant share of the West Virginia market.
