On Wednesday evening at Dignity Health Sports Park, the LA Galaxy will welcome the Seattle Sounders in a semifinal clash. These two most recently clashed on August 4th, when The Rave Green won in dominant fashion, obtaining a 4-0 road win.

The start of the 2025 campaign for the reigning MLS Cup champions was nothing less than disastrous. Their top scorer in MLS this term is distantly behind his 2024 numbers, which saw the winger amass 19 goals and 15 assists. Less inspiring this year, the 24-year-old had only garnered six goals. The club hopes he can reel off a hot streak, as Pec was able to find the back of the net against Colorado over the weekend.

Their team's top two leading scorers, Musovski with 13 and Rusnak bagging 10, their absences on Wednesday could make it challenging for the visitors to attain any goals.
Since LA started collecting points in MLS play, they’re managing the same pace as Seattle, so the mismatch isn’t as it’s perceived. All signs point toward taking the Galaxy to win or, at the very least, stay competitive in regulation time and return our stake should this skirmish reach the penalty shootout.
