It’s Tuesday, and I’m here to share my top five NBA player prop bets from a board of six matchups around the league.

Giannis Antetokounmpo dropped 33 points, 13 rebounds, and a game-winning jump-shot in the Milwaukee Bucks’ 117-115 win over the Indiana Pacers, while Jusuf Nurkic also had a game-winner for the Utah Jazz in their success against the Boston Celtics.

Tonight’s matchups include an Eastern Conference battle between two 5-1 teams, the Philadelphia 76ers and Chicago Bulls, and a late-night showdown between the Los Angeles Clippers and the league’s only undefeated squad, the defending-champion Oklahoma City Thunder.

Tyrese Maxey Over 27.5 Points (-122) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Playing with or without Joel Embiid hasn’t been a bother to Maxey, who went over in three of four and scored at least 26 points in every game with his former MVP teammate. He’s also averaging 33.7 points while playing more than 40 minutes per night, which is more than enough to go over on Tuesday night.

The Bulls only just  suffered their first loss of the season on Sunday, but they’re 12th and just about league-average in defensive rating and points allowed per game. They also don’t have great defensive pieces in the backcourt, which gives Maxey a favorable matchup

Desmond Bane Over 3.5 Assists (-132) at FanDuel Sportsbook

There’s been a recent shift in priority for Bane, who had seven assists in 28 minutes last Thursday and five assists in 20 minutes on Saturday. Assuming Tuesday’s matchup with the Atlanta Hawks will be competitive and Bane gets to play more than 30 minutes, he is in line for a potentially strong night in the box score.

The Magic aren’t short of scorers with Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner, and Bane can contribute as a facilitator on top of his usual sharpshooting. The Hawks are also 19th in assists allowed per game, giving Bane a path to cash the over.

Ryan Kalkbrenner Over 9.5 Points (-114) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The 7-foot-1 rookie from Creighton leads the NBA in field goal percentage (81.1 percent) and went over in four of seven career games. He was sent for a downswing his last two times on the court, but he’s getting one of the most favorable matchups in the Association on Tuesday evening.

The winless New Orleans Pelicans are clueless in many aspects, including their ability to play defense. They are 27th in points allowed in the paint per game, 28th in points allowed per game, and 29th in defensive rating, all of which could lead to the young Kalkbrenner getting to double-digits.

Collin Gillespie Under 4.5 Assists (-114) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Gillespie has actually had a solid statistical season, averaging 11.7 points and 5.4 assists for a Phoenix Suns team that can’t figure out if it wants to rebuild or contend. Gillespie also went over this line in five of seven games, but I’m still expecting him to take a step back tonight.

The Golden State Warriors have a top-10 defense by all metrics yet again, and with Devin Booker being the only true scoring threat every time down the court, I expect the Dubs to tilt their defense in his direction. Gillespie could benefit from open looks in the corner and having defenders sag off of him, but I don’t expect that to create additional assists.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Under 32.5 Points (-118) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The reigning NBA MVP is still wildly consistent, having scored at least 30 points in every game except for one this season while averaging 33.6 points per contest. Despite that, he would’ve cashed the under on this line in three straight games, and he’s facing a Los Angeles Clippers team that allowed the fifth-fewest points per game.

The Clippers aren’t a great defensive team, despite what their numbers might suggest—they just play at an extremely slow pace. I think this is a low-possession game, and one in which Gilgeous-Alexander will draw LA’s few strong defenders, leaving his teammates in positions to have better scoring nights than they would otherwise.
