There’s only one more day until the weekend arrives, and I’ve got the best NBA player props for Thursday to help bridge the gap.
Donovan Mitchell shone the brightest last night, dropping 46 points and eight assists as the Cleveland Cavaliers took down the Philadelphia 76ers. Deni Avdija’s 26-point near-triple-double also helped lift the Portland Trail Blazers over the Oklahoma City Thunder for their first loss of the season.
There’s only one game on Thursday as the Phoenix Suns prepare to host the Los Angeles Clippers. While that limits the range of bets, there are still plenty of opportunities that are waiting.
Here are my best NBA player prop picks for the Clippers vs. Suns showdown on Thursday.

Booker is coming off of a terrific game against the Golden State Warriors, during which he scored 38 points on 54.2 percent shooting. While the Dubs have a solid defense, the Clippers’ is better from a raw production standpoint, holding teams to the fifth-fewest points per game in the NBA.
Booker and company were already dealt a comfortable loss against the Clippers a couple of weeks ago, and the star guard only scored 18 points in 28 minutes. Although the Clippers have several injuries, they should actually lead to them putting more defensive pieces on the court.

Green is poised to make his first appearance of the new NBA season. His tenure with the Houston Rockets did not finish on a positive note, but he averaged 21 points per game and averaged 20.1 points per game for his four-year career.
The Suns need scoring to complement the play of Booker, and even if Green needs time to settle into the new system, he will get his opportunities to score the ball. This is a low line, even if he is on a minutes restriction, and he should be much less of a focal point for the Clippers’ defense than Booker.

Jones Jr. could see heavy minutes on the court in light of James Harden and Kawhi Leonard both being expected to miss Thursday’s contest. However, with odds these valuable, the opportunity to take the under is too much to pass up.
The high-flying forward went under in four of seven games despite shooting 44.8 percent from three-point land. That level of efficiency is also unsustainable for a career 32.9 percent three-point shooter, and defenders are unlikely to sag off of him the way they have without Harden and Leonard on the floor. Oh, and the Suns rank in the top 10 in three-pointers allowed per game and three-point percentage allowed.

The 23-year-old center went over in four of seven games and just had 16 boards in 27 minutes against the Warriors on Tuesday. The Clippers are ninth in rebounds allowed per game and have Ivica Zubac patrolling the interior, but this is still a good opportunity for Williams.
With Leonard and Harden out of the action, Zubac is one of the Clippers’ players who can expect to receive a heavy workload. The Suns don’t have many players capable of challenging him in the paint, and Williams could be forced into playing heavy minutes.

A former member of the Suns himself, Beal averaged a whopping 8.0 points per game and did not go over this line one time. But again, the absence of his superstar teammates means that he could be in line for more than 30 minutes and an increase in shooting opportunities.
The Suns are 22nd in points allowed per game, and Beal does not appear to have any positive feelings toward the franchise. Someone is going to have to score the points, and Beal is arguably the most capable non-interior player that will be available for the Clippers on Thursday night.
