NBA Player Props and Best Bets: Jamal Murray & More Picks for Monday, Nov. 24

It’s a new week full of new opportunities, and I’ve already made my best NBA player prop picks and bets for Monday.

Donovan Mitchell produced a standout performance against the Los Angeles Clippers, going for 37 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. Meanwhile, Jalen Johnson’s 28 points, 11 assists, and eight rebounds were enough to get past Kon Kneuppel’s leading 28-point effort for the Charlotte Hornets.

Looking ahead to Monday, the Indiana Pacers start the day by hosting the Detroit Pistons, and later on, the Phoenix Suns will welcome Kevin Durant back to the desert, along with his new Houston Rockets teammates.

Bennedict Mathurin Under 21.5 Points (-108) at FanDuel Sportsbook

The young Mathurin has done a great job in three games since he returned from an injury, scoring 23.3 points per game on 47.7 percent shooting and going over this line in two of three. That included a game against this same Pistons team, when he scored 25 points in only 25 minutes.

With that said, the Pistons are second in defensive rating and fourth in points allowed per game. They have lots of athletic wings and strength on the interior, and I believe they have the overall physicality to deal with the aggressive Mathurin and keep him under this line.

Dillon Brooks Under 20.5 Points (-106) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Brooks is quietly having a career year as a scorer, putting up 21.4 points per night on 45.5 percent shooting. He also dropped 25 points in his last game and went over this line in four of his last five games.

With the positives out of the way, the Rockets are fifth in points allowed per game and know Brooks better than anyone, seeing as they just played two years with him. Brooks often psychs himself up for matches like these, but he can also get into his own head, which I see as a real possibility ahead of Monday’s contest.

Jaden McDaniels Under 14.5 Points (-122) at FanDuel Sportsbook

McDaniels averaged a career-high in scoring to start the year, going for 17.2 points per game on career-best 54/47/85 shooting splits. He also went over this line in six of 11 games in November despite splitting the over/under at two each during his last four games.

With the Minnesota Timberwolves returning to full health, there are fewer shots available for McDaniels. The Sacramento Kings’ defense is abysmal, but McDaniels scored 21 and 13 points in matchups with the Kings during the last two weeks alone.

Jamal Murray Under 2.5 Threes (+112) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Murray has been quite an efficient three-point shooter in recent years. He hasn’t gotten off to a poor start, but he also hasn’t been up to his usual stuff, making 2.5 threes per game on 36.2 percent shooting, his lowest mark since the 2019-20 campaign.

The Denver Nuggets are taking on the Memphis Grizzlies, who are right in the middle of the league in three-point defense. Murray split the over/under evenly at five games apiece in November, and there appears to be +EV betting the under.

Trey Murphy III over 20.5 Points (-112) at FanDuel Sportsbook

Murphy III is picking up where he left off a year ago, averaging 20.2 points on 46/37/94 shooting splits. He also went over this line in six of his last nine games, including 41- and 35-point breakouts within the last two weeks and change.

The Chicago Bulls are 22nd in defensive rating over the last 10 games, and, by Nikola Vucevic’s own admission two nights ago, play soft, which gives a real opportunity to a New Orleans Pelicans team that is riding a nine-game losing streak. The Bulls are also missing Isaac Okoro and have several of their best defenders listed as day-to-day.
