With the Christmas festivities out of the way, it’s time to get back to hunting for the best NBA player prop bets for Friday.
Nikola Jokic put up video game numbers in the Denver Nuggets’ overtime win over the Minnesota Timberwolves last night, dropping 56 points, 16 rebounds, and 15 assists. Kevin Durant also led the way for the Houston Rockets in their blowout win against the Los Angeles Lakers with 25 points and eight assists.
More than half of the league is in action tonight, including an exciting matchup between the Miami Heat and Atlanta Hawks.
Here are my top NBA player prop picks and bets for Friday, Dec. 26.

Ware, only 21, has been on a rebounding tear as of late, crushing the over in four of his last five games. He also got to nine boards in just 21 minutes in his last game, and he has an opportunity to play starter minutes if Bam Adebayo (questionable) can’t suit up due to lower back soreness.
The Hawks have strong rebounders, but they ranked 21st in rebounds allowed per game over the last few weeks. Ware also played at least 28 minutes in three of his last four games and dominates the glass whenever he’s on the court.

Kneuppel, a sharpshooting 20-year-old, beat this line in four straight games while shooting 43 percent from three in December. That’s not an outlier either, as he made 3.6 threes per game on 41.9 percent shooting during his stellar rookie campaign.
The Orlando Magic do a nice job of defending the perimeter, but they aren’t airtight, allowing their opponents to shoot 35.7 percent (15th) from deep. The talented rookie plays heavy minutes and has capable teammates to attract the focus of the defense, and I like the value on this line.

Williamson appears to be back to his usual ways, scoring at least 24 points in three straight games despite playing 25 or fewer minutes in each. Now, he gets to face a Phoenix Suns squad that ranks ninth in points allowed per game.
While the Suns have done a nice job on defense, their best defender, Dillon Brooks, doesn’t have the size to match up with Williamson. He is also at the point in his return that he could start to play more minutes, not to mention he already averages 21.8 points per contest.

Cunningham’s MVP-level campaign has seen him average 26.4 points, 9.4 assists, and 6.4 rebounds per game. He went under this line in three straight games and has been uncharacteristically quiet as a scorer in December, but this is the perfect moment for him to bounce back.
The Utah Jazz play at the fourth-fastest pace and have the second-highest defensive rating in basketball, which means they are going to give up a ton of points per game (127.4; last). Cunningham had 31 points when these teams faced off on Nov. 5, and I expect him to have his way with their defense.

Avdija is having a career year as a scorer, averaging 25.5 points per game on 46.4 percent shooting. However, one of the biggest reasons for his scoring increase is his ability to get to the free-throw line, as his 9.7 attempts per game ranks second in the entire NBA.
The Los Angeles Clippers are disciplined and allowed the fourth-fewest free-throws per game. Avdija scored 23 points and had seven free-throw attempts when these teams matched up on Oct. 26, and he went under this line in three straight contests.
