With a big weekend of conference championship matchups in the NFL out of the way, it’s time to get back to the hardwood with my best NBA player prop picks for Monday, Jan. 26.
Zion Williamson put up 24 points and 10 rebounds as the New Orleans Pelicans beat the San Antonio Spurs, while Immanuel Quickley’s 23 points and 11 rebounds helped add another loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder’s resume amid their recent skid.
Monday’s schedule features standout matchups between the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves, as well as the Orlando Magic and Cleveland Cavaliers.
Here are my top NBA player prop picks and bets for Monday, Jan. 26.

Banchero is having a solid month shooting the three, only making 1.7 attempts per game, but sinking 38.6 percent of his long-range attempts. That’s a dramatic improvement on his season averages of 1.1 made threes per game on a miserable and career-worst 28.7 shooting from deep.
While Banchero just went 3-6 from deep against this same Cavaliers team on Saturday, and Cleveland has done a poor job of defending the three, regression to the mean is an ever-present danger. The Cavs will want their revenge, and Banchero simply isn’t a strong shooter.

Vucevic went under this line in back-to-back games, but he also went over in four straight just before that. The Los Angeles Lakers also ranked 13th in points allowed per game over the last few weeks of play.
The primary reason I like Vucevic to go under this line is that he did in both of the Lakers’ matchups with the Chicago Bulls in 2025. Deandre Ayton has also been disappointing recently, and either a fire will be lit in his belly, or he will be benched, and more capable defenders will take his place on the court.

I’ve spoken about this before, but Edwards seems to come up with more rebounds in high-leverage matchups. Well, he just had 11 boards against the Warriors last night in a 26-point loss, and I think he’ll bring his A-Game to the rematch.
Professional athletes don’t enjoy being embarrassed, and that’s exactly what happened to the Timberwolves on Sunday night. Edwards also went over this line in three straight games, and the Warriors’ guards don’t have the size or athleticism to beat Edwards on the boards if he is committed to them.

Avdija is having a remarkable season, averaging 26.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 6.9 assists per game. Not to discredit what he’s doing, but he also attempted 9.8 free-throws per game, which is more than every player not named Luka Doncic.
The Boston Celtics not only rank third in points allowed per game, but they also do a great job of defending without fouling and relinquished the fewest free-throw attempts per game over their last 15 outings. Avdija consistently goes over this line and had 24 against the Celtics on Dec. 28., but I can foresee him cashing the under.

The Charlotte Hornets have done a great job on the boards recently, giving up the fewest rebounds per game over the last few weeks (by a wide margin). A big part of that is they are making a high percentage of their shots, but that appears to be sustainable with their talent and offensive system.
Grimes went under this line in three of his last four games, and he also went under in six of his last nine games without Joel Embiid on the court. The 25-year-old Houston product is going to be contending with a team that has rebounders all over the floor, and I expect him to finish below this total.
