It’s a new dawn, a new day, and a new light for my best NBA player prop picks for Tuesday.
The unexpected headline yesterday was that James Harden wants out of the Los Angeles Clippers, whose momentum was totally disrupted by a home loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. Alperen Sengun also dropped 39 points and 16 rebounds earlier in the day to lead the Houston Rockets past the Indiana Pacers.
Today’s packed schedule includes a matchup between two of the top teams in the NBA as the Detroit Pistons prepare to host the Denver Nuggets. The 76ers will also continue their road trip as they head to the Bay to face the Golden State Warriors.
Here are my top NBA player prop picks and bets for Tuesday, Feb. 3.

The recent reports indicated that Green could be traded to the Milwaukee Bucks in a package for Giannis Antetokounmpo, only to return to the Dubs in free agency. Whether or not that happens, it wouldn’t be outrageous to say that his head could be elsewhere.
Stephen Curry is expected to miss tonight’s matchup with Philly, and Jimmy Butler is out with a torn ACL. Green never recorded more than four assists in five appearances without Curry this season, and I don’t know why he’d reverse that trend when the Sixers are playing their best ball of the season.

The Joker only went under this line one time in all of his matchups with the teams ranked in the top seven for fewest assists allowed per game. Although he’s yet to match up with the Pistons, who allowed the fewest assists per game in the league, that gives him a strong precedent heading into their face-off.
Jokic played 25 minutes in his return to the court last Friday and 29 minutes on Sunday. Assuming he’s on track to play 32 or 33 minutes tonight, he’ll get enough opportunities to have a shot at this line, even with Detroit’s defensive solidarity.

Bailey only went 0-2 from range in his last appearance, but he went over in four straight games just before that. He also saw his most average action last night at 28 minutes per game, which he used to attempt 4.8 threes per night.
Bailey went 4-8 from downtown against the Indiana Pacers when they met on Nov. 11. Although the Pacers allowed the third-fewest attempted threes per game, these teams should be flying up and down the court, and Bailey’s increase in minutes means that he should be around to get his shots off.

Doncic averaged 8.0 rebounds per game, had 15 in his last appearance on Sunday, and went over this line in five of his last seven contests. The Brooklyn Nets ranked eighth in rebounds allowed per game over the last few weeks, but that’s largely because they play at a slow pace and not because they are strong on the glass.
The Nets were only 21st in rebound rate during the aforementioned time span. LeBron James has taken a step back on the boards, Deandre Ayton is inconsistent, and Doncic regularly finds himself below the basket, all of which lead me to believe he will cash the over.

Brooks went over this line in three of his last four games without Devin Booker on the court, including one against the Pistons, who allowed the fewest assists per game. While Brooks is not even close to a facilitator, he will spend a lot of time with the ball in his hands, meaning he’ll be in position to make plays if his teammates can knock down their shots.
The Portland Trail Blazers ranked 24th in assists allowed per game over their last 15 outings. Brooks is the guy in Phoenix and can comfortably play 35 minutes, which makes these odds too difficult for me to pass up.
