The NBA Wednesday schedule is loaded with quality hoops across the league, and I’ve made my best player prop picks from the upcoming matchups.
Cason Wallace played one of the best games of his career yesterday, dropping 27 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists in the Oklahoma City Thunder’s win over the Toronto Raptors. Paolo Banchero also ripped off 36 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists as the Orlando Magic squeaked past the Los Angeles Lakers.
Today’s slate has a headlining matchup of the Thunder against the Eastern Conference-leading Detroit Pistons, but the most intriguing showdown could come in the nightcap, when the Denver Nuggets host the Boston Celtics.
Here are my top NBA player prop picks and bets for Wednesday, Feb. 25.

Cunningham was pretty terrible in his last contest against the San Antonio Spurs, only scoring 16 points on 19.2 percent shooting. That said, he logged 10 assists and went over in his third straight game since the end of the All-Star break, bringing him to 9.8 assists per game for the overall season.
The Thunder are only 16th in assists allowed per game over the last few weeks, despite ranking sixth in points allowed per game during that same stretch. However, I believe Cunningham is more likely to be assertive as a scorer, both because of his disappointing last outing and because Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is still out with an injury on the other side.

Harper, the second pick in the summer draft, only scored five points in 18 minutes during Monday’s win over the Pistons. However, he went over in five straight games before that and averaged 12.3 points per game on 55.6 percent shooting in February.
The Raptors have a solid defense with long guards, but I don’t feel confident in saying that they have someone who can stay in front of Harper during his downhill slaloms to the basket. With a return to his usual efficiency, Harper is getting enough shots and enough minutes to get over this line.

The Memphis Grizzlies did a pretty poor job on the board in recent weeks, and with Zach Edey and Santi Aldama out, and Jaren Jackson Jr. having been traded, there’s no reason to suspect they will suddenly improve in that area. Podziemski, meanwhile, grabbed 15 rebounds in each of his last two games while playing at least 32 minutes in both.
The 6-foot-4 guard is far from a commanding presence on the glass, but he is active, and that’s helped him crush this number. He should play heavy minutes yet again with Stephen Curry expected to miss the contest, which means that there could be real value on this line.

Westbrook might’ve gone under this line in four straight games, but he received 33 minutes of action in his last outing, and he went over in all three previous matchups with the Houston Rockets. That included six rebounds in their last matchup on Jan. 11 and a high of 13 on Dec. 21.
The Rockets are viewed as the best rebounding team in basketball, but that only means that the Kings should be incentivized to give more minutes to their former MVP. Westbrook also gets up for games against Kevin Durant, and I don’t see why that would change.

Brown averaged 29.2 points per game, good for fourth in the league, and scored 32 points in his last outing. More importantly, he took a career-high 22.6 shots per game and already scored 33 points on the Nuggets when they matched up on Jan. 7.
Brown is willing to take tons of shots, no matter how efficient or inefficient he is from the field. The Nuggets ranked just 22nd in points allowed per game over their last 10 outings, and Brown will recognize this as an opportunity to compete against one of Boston’s few true competitors for the Larry O’Brien Trophy.
