We’ve got another day in the NBA on the horizon, and I’ve made my best player prop picks for Saturday.
Jayson Tatum made his return to the court from a torn Achilles last night, putting up 15 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists in a 20-point win over the Dallas Mavericks. OG Anunoby also dropped 34 points and seven rebounds as the New York Knicks throttled the Denver Nuggets at Mile High.
Today’s games start in the afternoon with the Orlando Magic visiting the Minnesota Timberwolves and conclude with the Oklahoma City Thunder hosting the Golden State Warriors.
Here are my best NBA player prop picks and bets for Saturday, March 7.

The Timberwolves’ acquisition at the trade deadline has had a profound impact on the roster, helping them to play faster when the second unit enters the game. He also went over this line in six of nine games while averaging 11.6 points per game in his new threads.
Dosunmu shot the ball efficiently, but he also isn’t doing anything that doesn’t line up with his career averages. The Orlando Magic ranked 10th in points allowed per game over the last few weeks, but Ayo is getting enough action per night to get over this line.

Johnson is having a sensational year, averaging 22.7 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 8.0 assists per night for the Atlanta Hawks. However, for all of his development, he still only made 1.5 threes per game on 34.1 percent shooting.
The 24-year-old’s 4.5 three-point attempts per game are a career high, but he also went 4-17 from beyond the arc since the All-Star break. The Philadelphia 76ers don’t do a great job of defending the three-point line, but that’s less relevant for a low-volume, low-efficiency shooter from distance.

Sanders, a second-round rookie pick out of Nevada, has been a fairly consistent member of the Los Angeles Clippers’ rotation all year, part of him averaging 7.0 points per game. He went over this line in four of his last five games, but he also shot the ball exceptionally well and is staring at regression to the mean.
The Memphis Grizzlies ranked 23rd in points allowed per game over the last few weeks, but Sanders also isn’t a high-volume guy. With him being unable to sustain his current shooting (57.1 percent from the field, 64.3 percent from three in March), I would look for him to have a slower day today.

George averaged 6.3 assists per game, but he also went under this line in all three games since he returned from an injury. In fact, he only had two assists in back-to-back games, which doesn’t paint him in the best light heading into tonight’s matchup.
With that said, George will get a major boost with assist machine Isaiah Collier being set to miss Saturday’s contest for personal reasons. George played 30 minutes in back-to-back games and is facing a Milwaukee Bucks defense that allowed the sixth-most assists per game over the last few weeks, and I like his chances.

Holmgren has mostly enjoyed playing against the Warriors in his NBA career, going over this line in five of eight games and averaging 19.1 points per game. He also just dropped 28 points with six made threes against the New York Knicks in his last outing on Wednesday.
The Warriors are shorthanded, and they ranked 17th in points allowed per game over the last few weeks. Everyone knows that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is a threat, but Holmgren has a great opportunity against a slumping team that doesn’t have strong interior defenders.
